So stepping into the cooler, it's a moment of calm. It's kind of like white noise. So do that for 90 seconds. Go in there, do the 478 method. That's a great idea.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome to the business and pleasure of flowers. We're your hosts, Vonda LaFever.

SPEAKER_02

And Lori Wilson. And we believe the business and fun are a perfect combination. Kind of like us, Vonda. Hello, Vonda and Ellie. Hello. Two of my favorite people. So, Ellie, I have to tell you something. Of course, Vonda, you can listen too. Thanks. Thanks, Lori. You can listen. Or you can just uh answer emails. I don't know. So y'all know that Bailey and I went to round talk.

SPEAKER_01

Hold on just a minute. I have to stop you right there because I've been editing these podcasts for the last two weeks, and you keep saying y'all, and you never used to say y'all. You have been with way too many Southern people these days. I apologize.

SPEAKER_00

Did you hear her, Ellie? I'm used to it, honestly. I think. I don't think I don't know. That's what you get for going to roundtop. Well, I was gonna say I just got back from roundtop. She does live in Texas. What do you expect from her? Y'all's in there.

SPEAKER_01

She tries hard not to do that.

SPEAKER_02

I do try hard not to say it. Oh, I didn't know that was a thing you were trying at the end of the day. Like, what are my chances? I'm not gonna say it. When I lived in Texas, I started saying y'all. Exactly. It's not that hard. My dad says yunzes, so I feel like y'all is a little bit more classic. Elevated? It's a little more elevated. There we go. All right, sorry. Go ahead. Anyway. You know who is it? Roundtop? Joanna Gaines? No. Well, possibly. No. Drake.

SPEAKER_00

Drake the rapper. Drake the rapper.

SPEAKER_02

Did you see him? Roundtop. I saw his SUV. I saw the posse. I saw the whole thing. Bailey and I were like, what are all those black escalades? There was like three or four. And I didn't know who what they were because like Round Top was there's like a couple of miles. And so there's different segments of it. There's everything from the flea market, the good part that we call it, to the real high-end, high-level barns that you go into, which are very cool. Do you buy the whole barns? Go in a couple of the barns, and they have like really cool art, pottery, really cool custom furniture, like tables and stuff. And that apparently is where he was. But we saw the entourage. And then later we were at lunch. We were at this really cute, cute little cafe. And Bailey's like, she gasped. I thought she was joking. Oh my gosh. And it was on TikTok already. She's like, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. And at a table. That's pretty cool, Laura. Yeah. So Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, they were there too. We missed them all because we stay in the flea market area.

SPEAKER_01

There are probably a few less people in that area when there's probably mobs.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they probably clear them out. Yeah. So, but it was fun. It was really fun. Did you guys get anything? My mom had this pink glass. It's not China, but it's glassware. It's like there's some candlesticks, and I have some plates and little candy dishes and some water glasses. And I just love it because it reminds me of my childhood. And I only have four of the water glasses. And I found two more there. Nice. And I've seen some online, but it's always so fun to find it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Rather than just buying on Etsy or something. Right, right. And talk to the people they are the junk people that this is their life. And I was telling Bonda that Bailey bought this just a tomato that has a little lid on it. What's going to do with it? She's like, I don't know, but I felt bad for the old woman that hadn't it had been raining, and the woman was talking, she was very, very old. And she's like, I've been doing this for 12 years. I really think this is my last year. Blah Bailey was like, you know, I really think I need this tomato. So she was so sweet. So, but it was fun. It's just fun to walk around and good inspiration. Yeah. Also walking in like the place where all the artwork is, that's really cool inspiration. Like I saw a lot of floral, a lot of floral art, a lot of floral tapestry, a lot of like floral that reminded me of early 90s, late 80s stuff. And I was like, oh my gosh, I think I had this in my house. Like back in the day. So it was it was cool. But no drink riding, just his cars. But I thought that's a very unexpected guest there. I would have I know you'll have to come next year. Maybe he'll be there. Does he have a house in Texas? I feel like he had some tie, but I'm not sure what.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, he has a $15 million ranch. Oh, well, there you go. With the farm with the farm. Is it outside of Austin?

SPEAKER_02

Chapel Hill? Chapel Hill, Texas. So that round top is the exact middle ground between Houston and Austin, where Bailey is. Okay. We left us at the exact same time. Love it. And we got there at the exact same time. So it's like perfect. Did you stay the night or just do it down? No, we just go for the day. It takes like an hour and 20 minutes, hour and 22 minutes.

SPEAKER_00

Do you know where downtown Brenham is? Yes. Okay. Just 15 minutes from Brenham. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So Brenham is where Bluebell ice cream is made. And you can go there and tour the factory.

SPEAKER_00

Honestly, that's like the best ice cream, I think.

SPEAKER_02

In the world. Yes. Yeah. And I was trying to convince Bailey to leave Round Top and go do that because you get free ice cream at the end of the tour. She went to the show. She wanted to do it. She was like, or we can just go to ATB and get some ice cream. Yeah. We don't have to tour. I was like, but it's ice cream. So anyway, it was fun. Yeah. He was furnishing his mansion. Yep. There you go. And he was, if you get on TikTok, you can see him. He was looking at some beautiful tables. Beautiful. Wow. Out of my price range. A little bit out of my price range.

SPEAKER_01

So anyway. Very cool.

SPEAKER_00

Very, very cool.

SPEAKER_01

So Lori, you took the day off on Friday. I did. Which is kind of a wellness day. It was.

SPEAKER_02

And that was something that a mental health day. Mental health day. And it was something we don't normally do. When we take a day, it's usually because we like have to go take my dad to the doctor. It's not something like for us. Right. You know, and so it was kind of a weird feeling because we're not in the habit of just going, oh, I'm going to take the day off. Like and not to like clean your house for guests either. Right. Because I have guests coming, so I have to take the day off. Yeah. And what the other thing that was weird is you don't round top, it's not like you're getting great Wi-Fi.

SPEAKER_01

It's you know, like you were just connected. And we expected that when you were going. It was like, you know what? That's okay. Right. The bars were in and out.

SPEAKER_02

And there was a couple times that thank goodness, shout out to Sherry, who's I'm sure listening our flower click Sherry, who helps with the emails. There's a couple things I needed her help with because I'm like, I can't log in from my phone. Can you with this? She was like, I got it. Go have fun. You know, it's like it's not that big a deal.

SPEAKER_01

But but I think that's what we wanted to talk about today is wellness because of what just a couple weeks ago we had Beth O'Reilly on, and she was great. And at the end, she said, what she's really focusing on this year is wellness and making herself more healthy and being aware of what she's doing on a day-to-day basis, week-to-week basis, whatever it is, to really better herself because we all know how strenuous this industry is, right? Working as a designer in a flower shop or a freelancer or you're doing weddings and events, it is really hard on the body. Let's just be honest.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And so we ask Ellie to come join us because she is more aware of that than her mother, for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And she has great insight on this. And so we ask her to join us. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I think part of that, the reason she has more insight is you and I were raised in a different generation. It was just this work hard, put your nose through the ground, and you just work, work, work, work, work. I don't like the word wellness. I think we should just all be well, right? And do well things. I think that can get a bad rap too. But those things weren't around. They weren't talked about. And I think your generation, Ellie, and the generations on down are just so much more aware of it. And probably could you saw us and were like, God, I don't want that.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah, I think that's the way also just the world works. I mean, wellness is a multi-billion dollar industry, right? And so with that, obviously there's real things and there's yes. All kinds of trends and everything like that. So it's just kind of making sure you're cutting through the noise and doing actually things that help. But I think, yeah, I just grew up in the past 10 years with that being such a focus for people when you think of like longevity, you think of, you know, extending your life as long as possible and, you know, going down with the medical field. And like there's just so many paths that our generation are aware of and trying to prevent things. Right. You know, it's it's like marriage, right? We've seen the divorce rate. So then now all of my friends were in our 30s and now we're getting married rather than 20. So anyway. Yep. Yep. It's just the way of the world. Yep. But yeah. And also, especially when we're at photo shoots, right? We also experience, we obviously are not, well, not anymore, Vonda, but like everyday florists where it's taking a toll every single day. But when we do those big photo shoots, we get a taste of it. And that also helps us find good tips for everybody.

SPEAKER_01

That's true, because you and Lori really didn't experience that, right? On a Right.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I was young, so I didn't have the physical tolls of being older and having it. Whereas now it's like Lori and I, at the end of the day, we're like getting to bed and our hips are aching and our feet hurt. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

On the flip side of that, too, what I'm noticing moving to a desk job, that sucks too. Yeah. 100%. Like my sit for too long, lower back pains. And then you start going down the Google rabbit hole, and you're like, oh crap, this is worse. Right. On my body. Like it's so yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So we have to find the balance. So Ellie, what can we do?

SPEAKER_00

Before I say that, I think it's just important to know like we prep our flowers for longevity and we do proper care and handling. We have to do the same for our bodies. And so I have some more like out-of-the-box practical tips, but I know you guys have some tips as well. So we kind of segmented them into mental, physical, all those things. So we'll go through them. I'll say my little out-of-the-box ones, and then you guys can kind of chime in with yours. Does that work? Sounds great. Okay. So first we have physical wellness. That's probably like the, I mean, mental also is a huge thing, but physical, if you don't have your physical endurance up, you know, you can't be as productive and get through it as efficiently as possible. So I think with that, your hands are your superpower, especially for the designers. Your hands are your superpower. You have to treat them like gold. So a couple things, magnesium spray. Lori, do you ever use magnesium spray? I do. I will spray it on my feet. Yes. Same. You can actually do the same, spraying it on your hands and your shoulders, kind of as a little quick break after maybe you've done a big push of designing and you have a few minutes or during lunch. Spray a little topical magnesium spray on your hands or your shoulders or wherever you have that muscle stiffness and it helps with recovery. Well, very cool. So that's one. And then I know this sounds strange, but doing little wrist and thumb exercises and stretches before uh so that you don't get locked up. Don't you have that lock your fingers lock, Fonda?

SPEAKER_01

My middle finger always locks up.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Just locks. And that's after decades of designing, you know. So treating your hands like an athlete treats their body and doing a couple minutes of hand stretches before the day can help prevent that florist thumb and reduce your joint pain. So those are my two physical kind of weird things. Obviously, you want great shoes, whether that's polka or Vonda and I are really into bricks right now. Just really good supportive shoes.

SPEAKER_01

I still love my all birds. They are very supportive. That's what I had down here too. Dish your pretty shoes. Ditch your pretty shoes. Dish your pretty shoes. Go for comfort. Just go for comfort. And there's some pretty shoes that are very comfortable, but you know, it's not all about looking good in that or the design room.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's good if you have a local, like a fleet feet or a really, really good running store that you recommend. You don't have to be a runner. I'm not a runner. My husband's not a runner. But go in there and let them assess your feet. You know, they can do all of the things and see what style, because the three of us have such different style, like narrow or wide.

SPEAKER_00

Or the way that your feet are positioned, do they position out? Yeah, and do you lean on both sides of your feet? All those things, and that seriously triggers all the way up to your neck, right?

SPEAKER_02

Right. My husband had that done because he was having foot problems and he was focused on this one type of brand. And they were like, that is honestly, that is such a bad brand for you, even though it's a great brand for me. But that's a side note, but I'm just saying, your feet are so important.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_00

One more thing before you guys jump in. This is kind of all-encompassing for all the categories. A florist fuel station. I'm sure you guys have something like this, but if you don't, setting up a mini fuel station is super important. Making sure it has things like cut-up fruit for hydration, vitamins, all those good things. It's refreshing. High protein snacks like meat sticks, string cheese, nuts, maybe little packets of trail mix, something like that. And then having water bottles with electrolyte packets or having that water cooler with little packets like Ultima or Liquid IV. There's a hundred other brands of electrolytes to put into the water. So thinking of it like a snack pit stop. It's fast, it's functional, and it's within arm's reach in your back area, whether it's a break room or a little station in your workroom.

SPEAKER_01

Julie always talks about having someone come to the workstations. She's got a smaller shop, but when we were at AIFD symposium, she had a little cart that she would go around because these people were really busy. And so it was a little cart with all these little wellness snacks. And it was great. And yeah, and if you have a bigger shop, instead of having the place they have to go to, have somebody with a smile coming around. Hey, you need the water, you need your snacks, what do you need? And give them the variety and bring it to them if that's easier, keeping things more productive on the whole day. That's an idea. I thought it was always cute when she did that. I love that.

SPEAKER_00

You guys have anything on the physical side? Anything else?

SPEAKER_01

Just water, keep hydrated. Drink, drink, drink.

SPEAKER_02

I have the same thing. It's stretch breaks. I feel like if you're sitting at your desk or if you're designing, we tend to hunch. You know, you get remind yourself.

SPEAKER_01

Katie, the shoulder rolls, remember?

SPEAKER_02

Shoulder rolls. Yes, I do. Our old coworker, Katie.

SPEAKER_01

We all sit on our desk and she's like, no, girls, remember shoulder rolls. Shoulder rolls, put your arms back, just stretch.

SPEAKER_00

For the podcast listeners, we're all stretching in our seats right now.

SPEAKER_02

The other physical for me, again, I didn't really do any research. It is so important that I get a good night's sleep. I mean a good speak into that.

SPEAKER_00

What does that look like for you? Well, I you have tips on that.

SPEAKER_02

I am a early, you know, you know, I like, yeah, I like to go to bed early. I don't necessarily go to sleep early, but I like to go to bed early with my dog. I like to decompress, I like to read, I like to scroll, I like to just wind down as I want. And I like to do the same thing every evening. I don't like my routine routine messed up. And then I like to get about eight hours at least. You know, I I feel like I require a lot of sleep. So I I know if I don't, my brain just doesn't function as well the next day. I get very cloudy. Yeah, that's why it says the sleep is your secret weapon.

SPEAKER_00

And for a few supplement ideas, I take magnesium at night. I take um Yes, I do too. That's right. I forgot. I take melatonin. Do you take melatonin? I don't take melatonin anymore, but if you're a person who really can't shut your brain off, melatonin is always good. The gummies. And then tryptophan. Tryptoparian favorite. Yes, yes, tryptophan's really good because of the dreams. And what's the other one? Glycine every night as well. Glycine. Glycine helps your brain kind of process information and process the day. Just kind of a shower for you.

SPEAKER_02

I don't take them every night. Just because I forget, but I'll take tryptophan when I remember to take it. But and sometimes I'll drink like restwell tea or you know, sleepy time tea or uh chamomile. That honestly, that will help too. I don't know if it's just the warmth. Sleepy time tea. There is something in that. There is something, but it's something that will really help.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. For sure. Making sure you're stocked with band-aids, first aid kit, that falls into the physical, right? Making sure your knives are sharp, but not too sharp. Don't sharpen them the week before, right? Right. Not a couple days before, right? For sure. Yeah. Band-aids, ibuprofen, those kind of things. Having a little basket. Yep. Just your first aid kit. Yep.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know if this is physical or not, but is breathing is that under physical? Like I do it five breaths, five slow breaths for 90 seconds. And I've been doing it ever since you and I were in Miami that time at Nexton. We went to that breathworks class. That was three, three years ago, was it that we went? I think that was three years ago, Ellie. Anyway, that was my first eye-opening experience with it. And this it's just Oh, you mean with Amy? With Amy. Yeah. Yeah. And I started really looking more and more into like how breath can calm you when you're starting to have like anxiety or exhaustion or your brain. Anyway. And for me, in throughout the day, a couple of times a day, I will do that. And it's 90 seconds, five breaths. And because studies show it can remove your brain out of that fight to flight. It can reset your mind. And it really does. And so maybe that's a physical thing.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. There's a method of the four, seven, eight. So you take breathing in for four seconds, holding it for seven seconds, exhale for eight seconds. Four, seven, eight.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_00

That's one technique that like is the proper ratio for kind of resetting.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Breathing is important. You know, we forget to breathe.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And sometimes I'll just have to walk out of my office, maybe.

SPEAKER_00

So on that note, the going into the mental and emotional section of our wellness tips. I have the breathing, but I have it to do it in the cooler. If you have a walk in cooler, that's such a good idea. Cool down. You get some cool air in your lungs. Usually you are running hot when you're in the shop. You're running around. So stepping into the cooler, it's a moment of calm. Kind of like white noise. So do that for 90 seconds. Go in there, do the 478 method. That's a great idea.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I need to go find a flower shop and go walk there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think it would work as well to stick your head in the refrigerator. No. At home we had a walk-in refrigerator. Oh, so it was the same thing. After a run, I would go in there and cool down. Oh I missed that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Go and stand barefoot in the grass because it's grounding, putting the heat in the ground and just feeling the grass and doing the breath. There's something about that connection that it truly does calm you down. It shifts my focus. It's the weirdest well. And I would have never five years ago, I would have made fun of me.

SPEAKER_00

But well, it's that for me started during the pandemic when we were locked in our homes. That's what I'm saying. And we would drive to a we're in LA, so there was hard to find grass, but we drive to a nice neighborhood and literally take off our shoes and walk barefoot in the grass. Yeah. And it is amazing.

SPEAKER_02

It's an amazing feeling. And it's just grounding feelings.

SPEAKER_00

Crazy. This next one, Lori, you're gonna love. And I hope you have some more ideas for this, okay? Theme days to break up the monotony. So whether it's a Pink Wednesday, Flower Crown Friday, you know, whether it's fun sock day, something like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Something easy that everybody can do, but it kind of builds that team spirit and keeps the spirits high.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So I love that. I just love the thought of me walking into a flower shop to buy something, and they are going on with a theme of the day. Makes you feel like I almost would buy everything in that store because that tells me these people are fun. They are having a ball. You know, around here, you know, we just got done with the big IFR, which is the big Houston rodeo, and it lasts a couple weeks. And every store you walk into, every single employee, including McDonald's, are wearing cowboy hats. I mean, they go all out. And it just for two weeks, nothing else matters. It's just happy. Like you're on you're watching the news, and on I-45, there's cows running on the side of the road. The cops are running out. It's just everything's funny because it's well, it's because they got they ran away from the rodeo. Like it's so great because it's a theme. Yeah. Everybody loves a theme. Everybody loves a theme because everybody wants to be a part of it. But you're right. That would really boost morale. Mm-hmm. If once a week, maybe just once a week, everybody had it. Like, let's call it Wacky Wednesday. And so every wacky Wednesday is a new theme.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Or leaning in when you're just doing it on holidays. You know, Christmas is obviously easier or Valentine's Day, but Mother's Day. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

A pink day, a purple day. Dress. Everybody this week dress as a famous mother.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It could be any famous mother. There you go. Funny.

SPEAKER_00

There you go. And then the last one I had for mental and emotional is just either doing voice memos, like voice on your phone, voice memos, or on your notes. I mean, I use my notes app constantly. But just trying to do that if you have to event, if you have to reflect, if you want to remember something that went wrong or something that went right, making sure that you're just kind of capturing that information in real time rather than thinking you'll remember because newsflash, you won't. Well. So these brain dumps can just help prevent that emotional burnout. And like when you sometimes you just have too much in your head and you just need to unburden yourself. Or maybe it's a physical notebook, but just making sure you're getting out your thoughts and ideas and everything in real time.

SPEAKER_01

A lot of people like to do physical note-taking just because that helps them vent, right?

SPEAKER_00

Lori, you'd be proud of me. I learned a tip from your girl Mel. Which one? It was something about like change your life in seven days or something crazy. So one of our podcast episodes like that. But one of them was at the beginning of each week doing a brain dump, a to-do list. Yeah. But just writing everything out, which sometimes you forget to do it. Right. Right. It's not a new idea, but I forget to do it. And so just having that, and then I keep a running tab of all my thoughts throughout the day or the week and then reflecting on it. And I mean, last week I got all my stuff done, but the fact that it was on the paper. Yeah. Out of your brain. So you don't have to worry that you're going to remember.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yep. No, she's great. And you know what has helped me is you guys got me this. I think it was two Christmases ago in my little thing. It's just this little pad. I don't know. And I just jot down buzzwords. And this is what I use. It's funny, I put on my Google Doc here dump list. And that's exactly what you're talking about. And it doesn't have to be in any kind of order. Nope.

SPEAKER_00

It just has to be veterans. It's funny thoughts.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. It's it's this stuff. And because it also makes you feel so good when you can cross the line through it. Yeah. You know, makes us feel like you've achieved stuff. It does done you're like, oh wow, I was productive today. I did more than I thought I did. Because sometimes we feel like, God, I got nothing done. And then you look back, oh no, I did. I did do something.

SPEAKER_00

We've got a couple more things. Okay. So on immunity, right? Wellness, which that's so funny. I have this note, but how we were talking about wellness, wellness isn't a luxury in this business, it's a survival strategy. You have if you cannot afford to be sick. So with that, one idea is a little daily staff shot. And what I mean by that is a little wellness shot. You can get them at Costco in bulk or Sam's. They have ginger and all the good ones, wellness ingredients, or even buy the packs of emergency in bulk and make it a thing. You guys all take a little morning wellness shot together. That's fun. That's funny. Um I think that could be fun. And then diffusing essential oils like peppermint. Ones that are don't my peppermint. Yeah, don't diffuse lavender, but peppermint, make sure nobody's allergic to it. But just diffusing that in the area, it really does. It helps.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. You know, Ellie, both of those things hearing you say, also doing them. Show your team, hey, I need you healthy. I care about you. Yes. I mean, think about how powerful that is. If you showed up for work, now we're virtual, or I know you would have all these things for us. You truly would. You'd have a little corner of care. This would be my favorite job. This would be the corner that would always be stock. But we can't. So, but to show up for work, and there's this little corner of healthy, I won't want my healthy clickers or you know, whatever. And it doesn't have to be expensive, you know, going back to your vitamin C packets, like B12 tuble. Like you can have some things just to show you guys, here's your water bottles. Here's vitamin C.

SPEAKER_00

I'm trying to take care of you guys. And then that also trickles down to having them take care of themselves. Like, oh, I do need to maybe not eat McDonald's tonight. I should maybe make a better decision about my choices for this week, this Mother's Day week or this holiday time where it's crunch time. Exactly. 100%.

SPEAKER_02

I love great point. I love all that. I would also add each week have a different affirmation up for your team. Like you go team. I think that's great. I love it all.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. And I just have one more. And this is more of a personal thing. This isn't a thing you would implement for your team, but implementing that your busiest day as a no decision day. So prepping ahead of time. So the day before your busiest day, say it's Friday before Mother's Day, Sunday, and you, you know, whatever the day is. Pre-plan your outfit, pre-plan your snacks, write down all your tasks you need to get done. Take out the mental decision fatigue that you're gonna experience over the course of that day, or even that week, really. Take a Sunday to prep. Okay, I'm wearing the these are my outfits, these are my shoes, these are my socks, literally anything you can think of for that you have to make a decision on. That's a wear.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that really is good.

SPEAKER_00

More mental energy.

Even for the owner or the manager, it's like Monday, Tuesday, Lori's gonna be in this station, Wednesday, Thursday, she's gonna be in this station. It's scheduling, but it's still a rotation because you've been watching things and things aren't going exactly that way you thought. So before that really busy time to make those decisions.

SPEAKER_00

And then they they have those expectations in their head on where they'll be and what they need to do. Yes. To prep for that, I think to take out all the little decisions that need to be made so that you don't have to you don't have to worry about it.

SPEAKER_01

And it's interesting, food is the biggest one as that's right. Yeah. You know, remember how we'd be like, what do you want to eat today? What are we gonna do?

SPEAKER_00

That was the other thing. If you're giving your employees lunch that week, like plan it out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that whole week.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

That's great. I love it.

SPEAKER_00

That's all I got.

SPEAKER_01

I'm sure there's a million things, but it's a marathon, it's not a sprint. Flowers can't bloom on empty, and neither can you.

SPEAKER_00

There we go. I have one more. Every stem counts, so does every sip of water.

SPEAKER_02

Ooh.

SPEAKER_00

I don't have one.

unknown

I got nothing.

SPEAKER_00

I just I have one more. I have one more. You can't pour water from an empty vase.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, this is take care of you first. That's pretty true. Love it. These are all good. I think the key to all of it is modeling the all of this, and so your team will realize it's important too.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. And actually, I'm making this into a little PDF. So it'll be in the show notes. And you can have this so you can kind of check them off your list and prep.

SPEAKER_02

And then if they want, they can hire you to fly in.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I'll be your wellness consultant.

SPEAKER_02

Set up a little cubby to be.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

In her spare time. In her spare time. Yes, exactly. All right. Good luck with hiring. All right. I'm gonna go put my feet in the grass, ladies. There you go. Take your deep breaths. Take the breaths, take your water. Yeah, take my water and remember to touch grass. Okay. Thank you so much for listening to our podcast.
