Ellie

K ami. Have you heard of food combining?

Kami

I have not. Tell me.

Ellie

well, it's kind of a controversial thing. Like some people believe in it. Some people don't, you're supposed to eat fruit until like 12:00 PM, only fruit. And then after that, there's all these rules. But one of them that I actually do follow is what you were talking about, cinnamon in your coffee, because the cinnamon does something with your blood sugar, like the coffee spikes, your cortisol and all of that. And the cinnamon like levels it out.

Kami

Cool. I just did it for the taste. I didn't realize there were health benefits.

Ellie

Yeah, it's healthy.

Lori

you heard it on one of our podcasts?

Kami

I heard you say that you sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon in your coffee.

Lori

That's Vonda.

Kami

I was telling my husband this morning, my coffee is like a power drink because I put coffee and cinnamon and fiber and I add protein shake. So that coffee is like everything you ever needed.

Ellie

is that your breakfast?

Kami

Yes. Every day I just started out in the cinnamon. I've done the fiber and the protein shake for awhile .

Lori

You know how we, as a culture, we're super focused on the importance of protein, like high protein diets.

Ellie

Not true.

Lori

You're exactly right. Have you watched the Netflix series was Zac Efron. It's fascinating. When he went to that part of Italy where people are living to be like a 102, 103 and they, all these scientists came and studied the blue zones. Yes. The blue zones. Anyway, I know we're getting off topic.

Kami

I'm going to need to hear more about that though. Because even yesterday I saw my dietitian and they're still all about high protein.

Lori

Yeah. It's on Netflix. It's really good. If anything, it shows beautiful parts of the world. He goes to a different part of the world each time.

Kami

That's why they live so long. Cause they get to live in paradise.

Lori

Right? The blue zone where they were this little part, Sardinia, Sardinia. Um , it's fascinating. It really is,

Ellie

the show is called down to earth.

Lori

That's it it's really good. It has nothing to do with flowers, but it does have to do with pleasure.

Kami

I'd like to move to Sardina.

Vonda

Welcome cliquers to our 35th episode of the business and pleasure of flowers.

Kami

Congratulations girls.

Vonda

I know we're so excited. And we've had so many questions, Lori from how did we meet too ? What the heck is this flower clique you're talking about? So we wanted to take this episode to answer questions. We have our team with us to answer many of those questions.

Lori

Yes. We have Ellie LaFever and Kami Martin. They have been guests prior to this. We thought it would be fun to have a little foursome on here to celebrate our 35th. And I thought, whenever we get this recorded, I think the name of it should be what the heck is flower clique.

Vonda

We can do that. That's easy enough.

Lori

Exactly. So we compiled our list between the four of us. Like what are a couple of questions we get over and over and over again, we thought , you know what? We're just going to talk about it. So why don't you kind of be the moderator Vonda? Cause you're the one that keeps us all on task.

Vonda

I usually do. Yes .

Lori

So what is the first one?

Vonda

Well, the first one I will have to say, I get a lot of times, when am I out traveling or people will call me and say, how do you and Lori know each other anyway.

Lori

well, I get that question too, but here's what I, we need to kind of set the stage. I get it from people in the industry that are like, wow, how do you know Vonda? And you get it like who is Lori? So it's a very different tone yet. It's the same question. So I know I'm okay with it, but you want to start answering it or do you want me to start?

Vonda

You start.

Lori

Okay. Okay. You go . It was nine years ago when I started in this industry and I didn't physically meet you for a while, but I will say I will never, ever forget my very first one on one phone conversation with Vonda LaFever. I had been in group meetings with you, but you called me. And I remember I picked it up and I was a little nervous. Like why is she calling? I've never really talked to her . And you basically were telling me, cause I was a part time doing whatever. And they're like, you kept saying you are in the wrong job.

Vonda

Well , let me back up just a minute, Lori, they had doing Google analytics. She doesn't do numbers .

Lori

I was not talking to people and which was fine because I was, you know , it's kind of like I was in charge of putting things on a master calendar and I will tell you, I was not doing a bang up job. We hadn't known each other very long, maybe a month and a half, but you saw virtually saw something in me. Like we are not utilizing her to the best of our ability. And so you quickly moved. I didn't know if she, you were saying you're not in the right job. You need to get out of here. And so that's, that's my first moment of, I remember hanging up the phone, thinking this, she sees me, Oh my gosh, she sees that I can be good at something. And so I know I'll never forget it.

Vonda

Isn't that interesting. Yeah.

Kami

I just want to interrupt for a minute and tell you, and I don't want to go into all the details of my, I remember distinctly a conversation with Vonda where I felt the exact same way. That's interesting. Cause I didn't even know the story. And I remember I like , I remember where I was. I remember how I felt and I remember feeling like I had yes , she sees more than I know.

Lori

You weren't calling us to say I see you. You were , but it's just interesting. All right . How about you make it nice .

Vonda

Nice. Of course, it's nice. We know each other because we've worked together for a long time and energy and your way to connect with people is second to none. I mean, the way you can bring people together, you know this person and you know this person and you know, they're going to get along really well together or they can help one another because of what you know about each one of them. So that's what I know about Laurie beside your concern, fantastic person.

Lori

So I feel like if I didn't have the job, I'd be at like coordinating match.com or whatever those match sites you could do that. But I don't want to , cause it sounds like a lot of work. Anyway, that is our question. And then our first meeting, I think you were in Ohio.

Vonda

We were at Nordaly wholesale and you and Audrey came to visit.

Lori

Ellie and Kami you'll like this, she was like, let's meet somewhere for dinner. One of those nights, remember? So Audrey are like, yes, we're taking her to this really cool place Called melt . They've got the best, burger type everything. Well, Vonda doesn't eat meat. We didn't know that we get there. And she's like, looking through, I think she ordered a grilled cheese or a some light salad. Anyway, I think we, we didn't know her as well.

Vonda

It was fine . It was absolutely fun. So anyway. All right . So before we move on and say, what the heck is flower clique. I think it's important for everybody to know the background of why flower clique exists. I think that's kind of the big question I've been in this business a long time, as many of you know, and flower shop owners are smart, creative business people. They're passionate about what they do and they know flowers celebrate the most important and memorable occasions in the lives of everyone, really from birth to death, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays holidays. And just to bring a smile to everyone when they're having a day, they, or let me say, I love what we do for the most part. Let's say for the most part, because it can be overwhelming to try to get everything done. You know, you're managing people, ordering containers, ordering flowers, dealing with technology. Now that could be websites, reports, billings, and making business decisions. And at the same time, you're trying to market your shop, be active in your community and balance with any personal life, spending time with your families and friends. So that's my why I've been there. And I know it's not possible to do it all by yourself and to do it well. But each one of these ladies on this team have listened to shop owners and employees, which has allowed us to create flower clique. Each of us has been involved in this and it has a word kind of the describes what we feel is important in our role at flower clique. So Kami, let's start with you.

Kami

Okay. So my word has been simplicity and I've used it over and over as I talk to future members or people that joined follower clique, and it strikes a nerve with everybody, everybody, these days wants to simplify their life , right? I mean, even before COVID hits, it struck a nerve, but especially now, how can I simplify my life and make my life easier? We don't need to overcomplicate it. So when Vonda came to me with the idea of flower clique and went into the simplicity of everything, like the ecosystem of flower clique and how it helps the flower shops , my words were that's genius. It is absolutely genius. And I can go into all of that.

Vonda

Let's move on to the next word. And then we will let you go into it.

Kami

Please. Let me tell everyone about it.

Ellie

Absolutely. Ellie, what's your word? My word is elevate. It's a word I've always loved. But specifically my vision has always been, you know, before flower clique even was a thought is we need to elevate the floral industry. I think my generation has gotten burned out from ordering flowers online, then spending so much money just for it to look nothing like what they thought they were getting or what they were ordering. So personally I've always been offended when I overhear these conversations because that's not what our goal is, right? As floral professionals, like that's the opposite of what we want, but there are things that needed to change around this. And so when you order flowers and pay for something online to send to somebody, it needs to look like that for the end consumer it's as simple as that, the way it should be. And so that's what flower clique does. We've really set out to simplify that process so that the customer, and the end consumer and the florist is happy too, because they're getting repeat customers.

Kami

and it elevates their customer experience.

Ellie

Absolutely. It definitely elevates the experience for everyone and not to mention our clients see average orders of a hundred dollars or more. So it's a win, win.

Vonda

Yeah. Love that. Love the word elevate and Lori , your word.

Lori

My word is, and has always been community again. I'm going to talk about a memory. I have another very vivid memory before we even knew flower clique. I don't know where you were Vonda, but Ellie and I were in your pool where we have a lot of great planning meetings, but we were in the pool and we were just having one of our life talks just in general, kind of what do you want to be when you grow up? I don't know. What do you want to be when you grow up those kinds of conversations? And I remember she was kind of firing back at me. Typically. I like to think, Oh, I'm older than Ellie. So I'm counseling her. We were literally standing in the pool and she said, what do you want to do? What do you love to do? Phrasing it that way? Cause I was thinking, do I want to go back to college or finish up a masters ? And I was like, I want to be a part of something. I want to help people. Like, I want to know that somebody reached out to me with whatever is going on in their life and maybe I can't solve it, but I have a resource to hook them up and help them. That's what drives me, you know how we each have something that reenergizes us. I just remember trying to explain that to her. And she just said, you need to do it. And I was like, okay, but how, you know, what does that look like? Again? I'll never forget that pivotal moment and that's community that I was trying to explain. I love to be a part of a group that is trying to do better in the world. And I think just having conversations with a lot of our flower clique members, even having conversations with people in the industry that aren't flower click members, but we've had relationships with them in the past. I just thrive on that on a call this morning. And the girl laughed because like we in the call saying, I love you. I love you too. And I said, you know, you do know we've never met in person. And she cussed and she's like, Holy, Oh my God. I'm like, it's just nuts . That's what I love. That's what I want to be a part of. It's all community.

Vonda

And you've built an amazing community already here at flower clique. And that's so much of what we do. Let me go back to one of the frequently asked questions and Kami, then you can expand on this. Do you host websites? Oh , that's the worst. They know we work on websites. So maybe if you could just address that question and tell us what exactly we do with websites.

Kami

Yeah. So currently we take the website that you already have, right? There are certain hosts that we work with. We do not host websites. Currently we take the website that the member already has and we, I like to use Ellie's word. We elevate it. We also simplify it. That is something that we hear over and over again. The floral websites have way too much product, more product than they can actually source and carry in their shop. The pages go on and on and on. So one of the services we have at flower clique is called one- clique. What we do is we merchandise the website in a strategic way. So that first of all, conversion rates go up more customers buy. We find the conversion rates go way up whenever we do learn merchandising, but the florist love it because there is a lot less product on their website. Now, from the consumer's perspective, it still looks full. So if they were to go to anniversary, for example, there's plenty to choose from. If they were to go into birthday, there's plenty to choose from. But anytime I can actually share my screen with a florist and show them the products, florists see more than just the product they see more than color. They see the flowers and they see the containers. Their minds are going very fast as to how to make that product. So what I can do is I can show them , see, what's in anniversary, see what's in birthday. See what's in new baby. And they're like, Oh , I see what you're doing here because there's a lot of crossover between the designs and it's just smart work smarter, not harder. And before I started, like, I can do that. Like, this is just great. So that's what the merchandising is. Making it easier to fill the orders that are actually coming in off your website. Not having to go and run and get some strange flower or containers to do what Ellie said to make the customer happy. In the end way, it looks like the picture. What we've done is we merchandise. It there's a lot of crossover. We make it simpler. We try to simplify the containers. But then another piece of flower clique is the way we incorporate the word ecosystem. Ellie, I think you came up with that word. I've stolen it. I use it a lot, but we have this ecosystem where the florists can actually order the bundles from us through us and the flowers that they can order. They match the designs on their website. They can also order the containers. I've got a list of containers that we can share with our new members where they can actually order all of the containers on their website. They can order it straight through us. So that whole simplification of the process, they should have everything they need. It all works together. The ecosystem of ordering, having it, selling it, it's all simple and working together.

Vonda

But you always say Kami, have what you sell, sell what you have.

Kami

Yeah. I said that back when you were explaining it to me and you were like, I love that.

Vonda

that was yours.

Kami

I love to tell members about it. I'm passionate about it because I love to hear their reaction. Anyone that's tried, it absolutely loves it. They're like I literally have had florists say, where have you been all my life? Yeah . We love that. We love that. I would just also like to add that another aspect of one-clique is the service. You'd mentioned that awhile . I kind of call myself, dial-a-nerd. Because our florists will call us . Leslie and I joke about this. They'll call us for, you know, I got this weird email from Google. Is this important, those kinds of things too, that are part of the community. Like you said, Lori , we're that helper. If they need anything with their website, they can quickly shoot an email or give us a call. And we're that white glove service too . So that's another huge aspect of , of what.

Vonda

you and the team behind you with Leslie and Denise are incredible to get things done on people's website. I mean, they send you an email and it's like, well, I don't have to do that myself. Pretty cool service. The white glove service second to none. You and the team are amazing. The one-click program is great. Let me ask this. This one has recently come in. What is flower prep school? We just recently talked about that on a podcast. And so that question came in Ellie, would you like to take that one for us?

Ellie

Absolutely. Flower prep. School is one sector of flower clique. It's our education pillar flower prep school was created by us florists and non florists , tech people, everyone as a comprehensive online learning platform. So our vision and you have an anecdote about this. You don't have to get into it, but our vision was to take that delivery driver and turn them into a floral designer because we've heard so many times from our clients and in the industry that it's really hard to find a good designer, right? So our students range in experience and backgrounds, the most popular being training and onboarding for new and existing staff within a flower shop. So if somebody is new to the shop and the owner or manager just doesn't have time to get them up to speed, we do all of that for them. If they need to brush up on new skills, if they're an existing employee, this is also great for them. It's also for somebody who maybe is looking for a career change, maybe it's a nurse or somebody who always dreamed of working in the flower shop and they just need that education without going back to school or investing too much time and money. The essentials is our first course and it gets them up to speed quickly on all the basics and the foundation. So it's a mix of online learning with videos and quizzes and handouts. And then we also hold mentor office hours to really offer feedback, encouragement, and answer questions. Our first course is called the essentials, like I mentioned, and that's the foundation. We're really excited about that. And we've already filmed our second course. So we've got a lot in the works. I'll leave the link in the show notes so that everyone can go check it out.

Lori

Can I add one thing when you were talking about the different types of people that it's for? What I think is interesting slash kind of hilarious is when we first launched it to our members, we had more than a handful reach out to me, the shop owner, the woman, and bought it for their spouse. And it might be a spouse that they're working there long time, but they never really learned the basics. And it is sometimes hard to be a spouse training a spouse. We did not think of that when we were doing it when we were producing the whole thing, but it really, it's been kind of a fun little phone conversation for me when I'm like, Oh, okay. So do you have a new employee ? No, it is for my husband.

Kami

I have an addition to , when I describe flower prep school, I just recently described it to a florists. That's a member of ours. And the minute I told her about it, she said process it. I want it today. She said the cost versus the effort of training, someone is a slam dunk, the cost of the course versus the effort of training someone. She said, having someone stand around that you're paying and just hanging around for a month or so barely learning anything costs so much money to the business owner. And if she can have this in her back pocket to sit them in front of these videos, she said it is a slam dunk. I thought that I was like, I'm going to use your word. I'll give her credit. It was Abby .

Lori

It's like , well , she's not the only one I know Carrie mentioned that to you and Joanne . So the fun part of it all is launching it and seeing even more validation to the reason why we did it. Right.

And as Ellie mentioned that education is a pillar of flower clique. And part of our education is for our members only. And there are sessions that we have that really talk about what's going on in the industry or giving marketing ideas, which Lori does with the Facebook lives. It's like show and tell and things like that, which incorporates community and education together. So Lori , why don't I just turn it over to you? Because one of the questions is how do you grow your business?

Lori

We get this a lot. I will have someone call and we'll say, why do you want to know about flower clique? And they say, well, how do I grow my business? There's 5,000 answers for this, but the things we focus on the sides, getting your website in order that Kami already talked about something Vonda always says that I stolen from her is making sure that your second location, right, you have a brick and mortar. Your website is like your second store. So it has to be perfect just like you want your inside to look perfect. Got to have that perfect. So you grow your business by making sure your second store is great. Then you grow your business by getting the word out there. And the beautiful thing about our world right now is the fact that social media is a great platform and it's free unless you want to boost a post or run an ad, but share the great things in your store, on your social media platforms. That is one thing I have noticed as far as growing your business. The second question I get all the time is how do you do a Facebook live I'm queen of the Facebook lives? But what they're truly asking, isn't actually the technology of doing a Facebook live. It is how do I get the confidence to do a Facebook live? They're fine posting pictures of their beautiful designs, but for some reason, a lot of us feel uncomfortable when they haven't been on a live. So I walked through a lot of confidence, building conversations maybe . And it's been so fun and Kami, I know you've seen it too, because you follow all of our members. They'll email me. I just say my Facebook live. Did you watch it? If you didn't, would you go watch it? And they just start bit by bit. And what I remind them is social media builds the relationship. That's how people that hadn't been in your shop get a little insight to not only what your store looks like, but your personality. That's how you grow just a little bit at a time and start small just with a short one. And then you get more and more comfortable. We have so many members that not only are we so proud of them, they're so proud of themselves. And that's the best feeling ever. I think when you feel confident and proud of yourself that you are doing something to help your business.

Ellie

and that's just a compound effect, right? It's just like they say, like putting the first word on paper is the hardest or doing the first Facebook live is the hardest. So I would encourage you right now, do it today with our blessing, just do it, do the first one. And from there, you're going to realize it's more fun than you think and easier.

Lori

You're exactly right. They realize this is kind of fun. And I tell them, usually, if you don't want to do it by yourself, the first time you have a partner in crime, come in, you know, have one of your employees or do whatever. Let's do a little bit at a time until you get more comfortable, you're going to be doing them weekly in no time.

Vonda

And that's where your community comes in because you don't always have the answers on how to grow. Right. But what we do is we bring in that community and something that somebody's using in one flower shop will work in somewhere else. And maybe another one won't, but it's sharing that communal ideas, which really makes a difference in the growth of everyone.

Lori

Yeah, that's what I love . I know there's a lot of private flower Facebook groups. Our members group is so funny, but yet very educational too, some of the best questions. And you just watch all of the responses Kami and I we're always looking through that and we learn things.

Kami

recently, One of our members mentioned the add on for tip for delivery driver or designer. It was not my idea to put that on the website. It came from the members and one member in particular communicated how he's getting so many tips for his drivers and designers. Next thing I know everyone's emailing me. Would you add that to my website? And I'm like, well, sure. Or we'll get it done.

Vonda

So we just have a couple other questions before we wrap it up. And one of them is I just purchased a new business or I'm starting up a new business and I want to change the look, what do I need to consider Ellie ? Maybe you should take this. You're our branding expert here.

Ellie

So your first impression is what people see online, right? Just the same as your website, but it goes into your logo and your enclosure cards. And all of that, the thing I like to relate it back to is this might be a little harsh, but if somebody walks into your physical location, or if you walk into a restaurant or wherever and you , you just get a bad vibe or you smell something funny, or you know most people are probably going to leave. It's off putting , right. And they're not going to want to pay. If it's a Mexican restaurant that has premium $15 margaritas , and you're sitting on a broken chair, they're not going to pay $15 for that margarita. So your shop is no different, especially online. Now obviously with the way that our world is changing, you have to show that you're relevant, that you establish that trust with the consumer. And the way to do that is through good branding, good design, especially because florists are designers, right? So there should be no disconnect between the way that your logo looks and the way that you are sending out flowers or that beautiful design. Right? I think you have to look at it online. And if you think about spending a thousand dollars on a rebrand or a new brand, what are you getting back in return from that? You have to look at the cost versus the outcome. And I think you'll be happy to know, like people are going to pay more when you look good and when they trust you. So it's worth the investment.

Vonda

That's a great answer. And it is a question we get more than you would expect,

Ellie

And we might have something in the works to help you with that.

Vonda

Oh, wow. Well, we know we have an expert who can do that. So another one, I think this is you as well, Ellie, how do you take clear pictures of your flowers to make them look so good? And the second part of that is the same process used for social media.

Ellie

So I think they're different. I think e-commerce photography in that lighting is everything. And especially flowers are difficult because they're so three dimensional. And when you see them in real life, they just kind of pop out. And you're trying to portray that in 2-D through a camera lens, when they hold all kinds of weird shadows, roses, especially red roses are definitely the hardest. And I always scream a little when you set a vase of red roses in front of me and shoot. But when you have your light sources, when you have a light source on either side of the subject and then one in front of the subject and speaking again about red roses, you might need a light source above the vase of flowers. That's gonna lighten all of those strange shadows that you're going to get in the end, it's going to look more professional. So a good camera lighting, and then we send our images away to be clipped. But obviously if you're trying to do your custom images, it's fine. If you have a clear surface and a clear background, simple as that with social, it needs to actually be less nice. I would encourage you to take those quick snapshots as you're running through the shop and you see a design on the delivery counter snap, those quick shots. It definitely shouldn't be perfect,

Vonda

But it still shouldn't have stems in the background or a lot of McDonalds cups, pay attention to what you have in the background. Cause people are looking at that as well, right?

Ellie

Yeah. It's establishing that trust because when you just have stock photos or things like that, it's not going to relate with the consumer. So I would encourage you to, to say done is better than perfect and post away.

Kami

So I just want to attack on , cause what I hear you saying is perfect is necessary for the website, but for social media, less than perfect is preferred.

Vonda

Correct. Love it. Good clarification there. Kami.

Kami

I actually have been sent an image to add to the website that had a McDonald's cup in the background. This was years ago, years ago, I was like, Oh ,

Vonda

well let me just wrap it up and say, what the heck is flower clique. Hopefully you have had that answered with one click flower prep school and with the community. I mean, it's really about the white glove service education pillar and the community pillar. There's not a group of more passionate people to help you in this industry that you have talking on this podcast right now. Okay .

Ellie

We're women owned and women powered. Go girls.

Lori

we cannot get off until the question is asked, raise your hand. If you want to go first, if no one raises their hand, I'm just going to start calling Vonda. Vonda. Love fever is giving you life right now.

Vonda

Lori, what is giving me life right now is setting on my desk. Um, I just recently picked up some of the things that were from my mother, a little shoe Dutch shoe, because my dad is full-blooded Dutch, which means I'm partial. It's this cute little chew that's sitting on my desk and that's giving me life. Cause I'm thinking of my mama today.

Lori

Very cute, very cute, there was some jump, rope, five little dutchmen. And so that's going to be my head all day now. And I can remember. So Kami, Kami, Martin director of one click. What is giving you life right now?

Kami

Well, I don't even know if I would say it's given me life, but it is my life right now. And that is, you know what I'm going to say. My kids are in softball. I have , I have the triplets and they are in softball and they are on two different teams. And I am the living for softball right now. As soon as soon as the workday's over, we're going to practice. We're going to games. We're going to tournaments. We're buying stuff first off . It's like our life is softball. So having get talks from Lori every now and again to gain some perspective on has got three on the field. There are so many mistakes that can happen. I just absorb it all. I'm like, okay, it's just a game, but it is my life. It's so fun. Like I talk about it. Like it's stressful, but it is a blast.

Lori

when your kids are gone, like mine are and Vondas, you will miss it. You will miss it. And so, Oh , you do a good job of cherishing. I mean , don't miss a game because it goes by fast.

Kami

I haven't even missed as a practice. Nothing I'd rather do than sit there and watch those kids play.

Lori

That's good. That's good. All right , Ellie?

Ellie

What is giving me? Life is our flower clique Instagram account.

Vonda

Ooh , nice plug. Yes.

Ellie

Um, so I've been really into discovering people, following people through our flower, click Instagram and connecting with people. It's been really fun. We just, I think I just started it last week. So we're trying to boost our following as well. So if you are on Instagram, you should follow @flower.clique

Kami

Yeah . You know, I don't think I've done that yet. I'm going to do that.

Lori

I forgot to tell you. Ellie LaFever our brand manager for Instagram account.

Ellie

Yes, Lori.

Lori

I have had not one but two conversations with people that have called me to inquire about our services. And when I ask them, how did you hear from us? You know what they say? Your Instagram. And I mean, it's brand new. Like we kept talking about doing Instagram, but we never had time.

Ellie

Yeah. It's getting fun and picking up. I need some followers though. So please, please help us out. And we'll follow you back.

Lori

I forgot to tell you. You needed that little bump.

Vonda

That's great. Okay, Lori, and now you go

Lori

okay. So mine I've been slowly coming back to life from my COVID trauma. And I will tell you no one was more traumatized by it than Kami Martin.

Kami

True.

Lori

It was even worse than me physically having it .

Kami

I still think about it. I'm like, how are you today?

Ellie

I've might have had a couple of mental breakdowns about it as well.

Lori

You did all of you. I have to say, I have told them more people during the peak of my sickness, I was way more worried about you three and your wellbeing. Anyway. So last week, you know, I started making phone calls and calling people back and having conversations. And then this week I've been a little bit stronger, a little bit more clear. And I've had a few calls even today. And I just, I'm looking back from Monday to today and I have had such good fun conversations. You hang up, your stomach hurts because you have been laughing so hard or you're dialing somebody else really quick. Cause you have to find out the answer for them. It's just been a good week for me.

Kami

You chatted me earlier today and said, I know we all feel this way, but I just need to say, I love this person. And it's one of our members. I think that's again, why we do what we do. Like we really love these people. before I hung up with one of our members the other day, we both said, love you and my husband just happened to be in there. He looked at me like,

Lori

yeah, it's real. It happens. And you just go with it. Everybody needs to feel loved. That's the bottom line. That's great.

Vonda
