So the second most common mistake is more is better, more is better, or my customer needs lots and lots of options.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome to the Business and Fledger of Flowers. We're your hosts, Bonda LaFever and Lori Wilson.

SPEAKER_03

And we believe that business and fun are a perfect combination. Kind of like us, Bonda.

SPEAKER_01

Lori, I'm glad you could make it. I know you were a little late. I was late.

SPEAKER_03

I am sorry. You know, when you get everything ready and you have your plan and then you turn on your computers like must restart computer software updates. And I had clicked remind me later, probably 20 days in a row. And finally they were like, no, the time is now, Lori. The time is now.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh, you guys, that reminds me of this funny video I saw the other day where it said that one friend is like the software update where when you see them, there's that one friend that when you see them, you're like, oh, not now. Not now. I get really hit home with it because that's how I am with every software update.

SPEAKER_02

And yes, I am certain friends. Not now. Like I get it, and I know I need to expand time, but just not now. Remind me later. That was so funny. Speaking of software, which reminds me of computers, Cammy, our one click director for Flower Click, thanks for joining us today.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, thanks for having me. Good to be back. Yes, yes, you're always welcome. And thanks for doing it like on the fly. Yeah. I was like, what am I talking about again? I love how you clicked yes on your calendar invite. And then 12 hours later, you're like, um, what are we talking about?

SPEAKER_00

I trust you guys that much. I know.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say it's all about trust, right? A few days ago, we had a webinar on common mistakes that people make on their websites and what you can do to really get your website up and running and at full potential for the summer. Kind of it's a summer project, right, Cammy?

SPEAKER_00

Right. Actually, it came about because we offered a website analysis to over 70 florists, and I just kept having the same thing pop up over and over. Three common mistakes I saw. And there are simple solutions to those mistakes. So yeah, we we created a webinar about it, and now we're we're doing a podcast about it.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we have the full version, which was right at an hour, I think, right, Lori.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, with QA and all of that, I think it was right at an hour. And I think um it should be up on our YouTube channel, right? Right.

SPEAKER_01

And it's kind of a show and tell because Cammy has some great graphics that show exactly, you know, what to do and the inspiration. But we just thought it would be great to do an abbreviated version and say these are the mistakes, and here are the solutions.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And I did share quite a few screenshots on that webinar because I know the florists listening are are very visual people. And I know from talking to florists all the time, they are always inspired by things around them and um you know sparks ideas. So maybe we can still do that through the podcast too, hopefully, without pictures, just in descriptions. Those descriptive words, yes. So the first mistake that I saw over and over, and I continue to see, is keeping your website as is, or just taking it right out of the box, not changing it at all. That's one of the biggest mistakes I see. And I'll tell you, the main floral website hosts do a good job giving you the nuts and bolts of a good website. You know, they provide you with the fundamentals like the checkout process. And, you know, they're good websites, good performing websites.

SPEAKER_01

So, Kimmy, well, let me just go back and say when you're saying out of the box, I sign up for a website provider, which would be, you know, a teleflora, Florinex, or FTD or Media 99, any of those. And I just take it as is. That's what you're saying as out of the box.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. So, because those are great platforms and they're needed, right? I mean, that's a very big job to have a website that people can check out and you know, to add to cart and all the things and and feature your work. And let me also add that those platforms do provide great self-administration tools so that you can actually go in and move things around and change things, but the problem is time. Nobody does it. And honestly, the technical chops to do it too, right? But time is a big factor, and they're like, Well, I've got a website, you know, and dust off their hands, I'm done, you know. Right, walk away. But really, what ends up happening is there's these templates, you know, that these providers create, and it just kind of has your name and your address and your phone number input in, just like the guy up the street, you know, just like your competitor. And there's really nothing that makes you stand out or nothing that makes you different. And there are some simple things you can do to customize it, make it your own that will fix that problem.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so we want to make it so it's not out of the box and we're going to make it our own. So it's almost like we're claiming it and saying, okay, I don't want to look like everyone else. Right. These are the things that can help us achieve that.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So take the basic, you know, you got to use it. It's great. It's a great resource that you've been given, but let's just bring it up a level, right? And there's some simple things you can do or solutions. So the first mistake is taking it as is, right out of the box. The solution would be to customize the about us page. These platforms give you a basic template for an about us page so that you don't just open your website with nothing there. They give it to you with full intentions that you will go in and update that. And very few florists do it. Very few florists update it. So, my suggestion is to take a few pictures of your staff or add awards that you've been given. And I showed some pictures of some great websites where they added best of 2020 and blah, blah, blah. And then they have um locals love us. There's all these awards that um shops have. I have one shop that added a little YouTube video link of showing around her shop, you know, so someone can kind of see what's in the shop. And that's not that difficult to do. I mean, I think she took it with an iPhone, um, the video, right? And she added it to her about us page, not only photos, but some great content. Um, like just saying, What's your story? Why did you get into the floral business? You know, what are your passions? What do you love to do? You know, why are you a florist? Those kinds of things.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I know Lori always reads the about us page, but she buys, right, Lori?

SPEAKER_03

I do. And if it's a shop that I can tell is just the about us that just says here we are and where we're located, and here's our delivery area. I want to know the story. I am visual also. I'm not a flower shop owner, but I want to see pictures. I want to see what it looks like on the outside. I want to see the people, and I feel like making those connection points make for a much easier sale too from a customer standpoint.

SPEAKER_00

So I'm glad you brought that up because it does help with gaining customers. It that's one aspect of it. But another big aspect that my brain goes to is more of the SEO aspect. So you've got the search engine optimization, that's what that stands for. And then let's say you have um, like I mentioned, your competitor who may have the same exact website, right? They may also have a flower shop network website, right? If you add that content, Google, you know, or any search engine, I just say Google a lot because that's the number one search engine.

SPEAKER_03

Our world is run by Google.

SPEAKER_00

Google, Google, and it's fun to say. Someone told me once I say Google funny. Google, so now I like to say it a lot. Google now. I'm always going to listen to you say Google. I there's only one way to say it. I know it's something I guess I say it funny. So you say Google or Google? Google. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Now I can't say I hear it. I hear it. It's the Oklahoma accent.

SPEAKER_00

It's the Oklahoma. Yes. But anyway, Google is gonna look at and say the search engines, the search engine is going to look at your site and how is it different from the guy up the street? And if you've put in a little bit of work and a little bit of extra content, it will make the difference. If they're splitting hairs over the website of which one should be ranked higher on the page, that will help you. And you're it's a great opportunity to put in some local content too about the cities you serve. And so those kind of keywords, right? They'll just kind of come naturally as you talk about why you open the shop.

SPEAKER_01

Right. And what I love on some of the examples you have shown is that it makes it personal. It's like Lori looking at it and saying, I want to do business with these people, they look likable, they like things that I like, you know, it's they're having fun, I mean they're involved in the community. Any of those things that you think as a consumer, you would want to know. Right, right.

SPEAKER_03

He showed a slide of one of our flower clip members that I don't know, it was black and white pictures, right? When they were first started, that is to me amazing. If you have pictures of when it you first started your business or when your grandparents started your business, put that stuff on there. Yeah, because that also tells me, oh, they're must be really good.

SPEAKER_00

They're still in business. Yeah. And I would just say if it intimidates you, because you're like, well, I don't know how to do that. What I would suggest, all of the floral hosts that that we've mentioned so far, if you will just email it to them and say, please put this on my about us page, they will do it. So if it's if it's the technical side that scares you, you know, get someone in your shop to take a few pictures, write up a little something, just start with my name is and I opened my shop in this, you know, this year, or I just start writing a story and it can be added to what's already there. You don't have to fill up that whole page, even if it's just a few additional sentences to what's already there, it will make a difference. And then I would just end the about us page section with saying it's worth your time to work on it. And the good news is once it's done, it's done. It's not something you necessarily have to do all the time.

SPEAKER_01

Right, right, right. Okay, well, that's good. So the about us page, we're gonna work on that. Now, what's another thing under not taking it like it is out of the box?

SPEAKER_00

You know, I think every time you've had me on the podcast, I I talk about the importance of the home page. It's important if you're going to customize the website a little, that would be the place to spend some time. Um, and just because it's it's almost like the face of your website, it's the front door of your home.

SPEAKER_02

The front door.

SPEAKER_03

If you watch HGTV like I watch HGTV, they are so big on the color of your front door. It is a first impression. It makes people either want to come in or not come in. And I always think they were doing it last night, they were painting all these different color front doors in these in this neighborhood, and I was like, that's the home page, that's their homepage.

SPEAKER_01

That's the home page. And that's what I was saying. You have one chance to make that first impression. So that door, that homepage, and like we talked, it's kind of a play on word, but it's one click to make that decision.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. And many of the websites you have, the floral websites, have the ability to add banners. And I think a banner is really inviting, especially it adds some color. I was just analyzing another person's website that was on our webinar yesterday, and it's a great-looking website, but it there's no personality. When you get there, it's very white and it has products to buy. Um, you could, you know, you can see the products, but there's nothing about her shop that draws me in. And I actually looked on her Google listing and noticed a really cute picture of her shop. You know, as I get back with her, I'm gonna say, you've got a cute shop. Um, put that on the homepage. I shared a few pictures of websites yesterday um and screenshots of shops that put the front of their store right on the home page. And it's very inviting. There was one that's in downtown and he has flags, you know, because it's a fourth of July Memorial Day. He's got his flags all out. And his shop is beautiful. I helped him put it on his website, and I said it helps a customer to say, Oh, that's that shop I drive by all the time. That's this is the one I want to do business with. There's no way they're gonna mistake you for an order gatherer, right? Right, right, right.

SPEAKER_03

Well, the other thing is if I'm ordering flowers for you in another state, and I see that that shows me, oh, they're they're legit. They're a real store. Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I love that. Okay, so now we have the about us page, the home page, and the third one.

SPEAKER_00

The third one, this has come about through the COVID, through the pandemic. A lot of people are sending, you know, not only flowers, but sending gifts. And a lot of florists have some really unique gift lines in their shop. It's difficult to put every single item up on your website one at a time. But what a lot of shops I work with have done is they've created some unique gift baskets. So they've bundled, you know, a like a tea basket or a gourmet jams and crackers basket, you know, whatever they have in their shop. It's pretty neat to see because you, you know, as a florist, you don't want to go deliver a jar of jelly, right? No. If you can package a basket that's $69 or $89 and get some of your product out the door, it's really win-win. Not only for me personally as a shopper, I can't put together a gift basket to save my life. So if you create one for me and I'm like, oh, that just screams, Lori. I want to send it to her.

SPEAKER_01

And I saw one that you had on there that had placemats, platemats, and a tablecloth or something. I'm like, oh my gosh, it was so dang cute. But I wouldn't know that the shop had that merchandise had you not posted those on the website.

SPEAKER_00

So it was pretty cool. As you know, not only is there a high percentage of people ordering from the website. I what did you say, Vonda? Like 40 to 50 percent typically. Yeah, some some people are even saying 60 or more percent, depending on the areas that you know it varies, but I'll tell you, we do know that customers are looking at the website. If they're not buying from the website, they're using it as a menu and they're looking. So it definitely helps you to put those things out there. These cute little gift baskets. She's got like, I'm just looking at she's got one called Wine Not. Wine not. It's got wine, it's got wine glasses, um, it's there's one called Tea Lovers Delight. She did them herself, she photographed them herself, and I know for a fact she did them with an iPhone. Um the big thing that makes them look good on the website is she made sure they all had a consistent background. Um, so just looking at it right now, it looks like they're all kind of on the same surface, sitting on the same surface with the same wall behind them. And then when we loaded them onto her website, we put them all in a category called gift baskets, and they look really nice. It doesn't look bad next to a, you know, extremely professional photo because we don't have to those photos.

SPEAKER_01

And I think that was a tip that we definitely shared is do not have something you have taken next to a professional photo because then you can learn like, ooh, that's not very clear, or it's just not as professional. So I know that you and your tech team for Flower Click always make sure that things look cohesive. No, do one full row of the same type of background, which makes it very presentable.

SPEAKER_03

So, can we have a question about the gift baskets? I know they're supposed to be in their own category, but let's say, you know, we're just coming off of Father's Day, and one of our shops I know had a Father's Day basket. He also has like some candy, and he had like some cool, like a couple of bottles of cool beer, like obscure brand. Anyway, it was super cute, and he called it. I love that it was just called man cave stuff, and it was the coolest basket. Wouldn't you put like a seasonal item like that on the home page if the picture's good, like for sure.

SPEAKER_00

As a matter of fact, one of the shops kind of did double what I'm talking about. So not only did she create these products and bundle them in a gift basket, she also created a banner that's on her homepage that's a you know, saying spice it up this Father's Day and has a picture of it. And it's like, yeah, it's just a regular Teleflora website, and she has added her own spin on it. Great idea. Just want to add, because some people listening to this might say, Oh my gosh, that's great, but I don't I can't get that on the website. And just know that if you provide the content, most of the time you can find that's the hard part. It um you'll find someone that can add it for you. If it's not flower click, right? A lot of times you can email it to your web provider.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, great. So now we're still on solution number one, which is making it personal. Yeah, and we have down product descriptions. What do you mean by product descriptions?

SPEAKER_00

So, you know, you've got all these designs on the website, and they do have descriptions, and they're done well. They're done, you don't have to rewrite them all, but it actually does a lot of good to add some local content to the end of that. And it's not that hard. I showed a couple of screenshots of where you can actually log in and pull up the product, and it has the description. I don't think you need to reinvent the wheel, um, but I showed where you could just add a couple of extra sentences at the bottom. So in this case, I added, hey, we deliver beautiful floral designs to Abington or the surrounding towns. We also offer same-day delivery to this hospital or other medical facilities. So you know the places that you deliver to that people might be searching for. That's a really good place to put in a couple sentences that just add that extra. I don't think it's going to convert them to a customer so much as make you again higher than your competitors because you've added those extra keywords that are local, local words. Great. And one thing I added on the webinar is that would be extremely daunting to think, oh my gosh, I've got to do that on every product. Right. But that's not what I'm saying. Start with the products on your homepage, the designs on your homepage, and then maybe move to best sellers, the ones that are always up year-round, and and do start there and just see if it doesn't make a difference.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well, and that kind of goes into the last one, which says local and city pages. What do I do to create a local or a city page?

SPEAKER_00

So a city page is a really good opportunity to add that local content and that customization again to stand out to the search engines. Basically, it's like a category, like anniversary or birthday, but instead you call it Florist in City Name. Okay, so like Florist in Tulsa, Florist in Prior, Oklahoma. Any town or city you want to show up for, you just create a page for. And I again that might sound daunting, but if you provide the content, someone can do that for you. And then you can put it on the top nav. I've noticed Florinxt websites, a lot of times they have it on the top nav where the customer can say Florist in Green Bay, Florist in, you know, and they'll see the different cities that you deliver to, which can help them to have that confidence to know, okay, they do deliver to this area. Um, but in the past, I've mostly seen it hidden in the site map. It's not something that needs to necessarily clutter up the top nav, but you create these categories and you might put like eight designs in there. And I would recommend putting eight designs you can make year-round, like beautiful and blue, right? And dozen roses, dozen roses, right? So put some designs in there that are year-round that you don't have to mess with it because once it's done, it's done. Um, but I have a shop, for example, that I worked with on this, and we've created these city pages for her. And she helped me. We, you know, because she's got the knowledge of what's local. She added some funeral home names, like, for example, we were looking at her main city she delivers to. She was like, Okay. In that town, I want to I want to include this funeral home and I want to include this hospital. And we created sentences, it has to make sense. You can't just list out you know the funeral home, but Hutchins Flower Company delivers to blah blah blah funeral home in Abington. And again, you're adding meaningful content to your website that sets you apart, and the search engine crawls on these pages and indexes these words, and it can really bump you up. And this is it's really not that hard to do.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, cool. All right, well, let's move on to the next one. The other mistakes have simpler solutions, too. And that one is so huge, making the personal. So the second most common mistake is more is better.

SPEAKER_00

More is better, or my customer needs lots and lots of options, right? Based on what they what they think. So I'll just say more isn't better. More is not better. As a matter of fact, it's overwhelming to a customer. And you guys have done a whole whole podcast on this, the paradox of choice, right? Um but it's overwhelming for a customer. As a matter of fact, I have a slide that we pulled up in the webinar that was one shop's anniversary category. It was so overwhelming, like Lori's heart started beating fast. Stresses me out. There was too many products, rows and rows and rows of products. And it not only is it overwhelming for the customer, but for the florist, there is absolutely no way they can fulfill those orders same-day delivery. There's just no way that they would have that many varieties of flowers, that many containers. It's absolutely and and I I could talk about this for a while because we also know that customers have come to expect that when they hit add to cart, that they get what they added to cart, right?

SPEAKER_01

Even though you have those little pop-ups coming up that say substitutions. Yep, they're not paying attention.

SPEAKER_03

You know what else I was thinking as you were talking about this during the webinar? I mean, I was looking at the multiple, never-ending scroll of just anniversary category. I was reminded in in our Flower Click, our sales prep school, one of the things we talk to new employees about is taking some time to get to know your website because so many people are going to be calling, saying, I'm looking at your bright and lovely. What and know what that is. It would be impossible for a new employee. Like if that website looked like that, you they would you gotta be kidding me. I can't memorize all this stuff. Yeah. So it's not just a designer, it's even your salesperson.

SPEAKER_00

And the category I showed was just anniversary, like you were overwhelmed at that point. And then if I were to go into bestsellers and birthday, it would be a whole nother mix of products.

SPEAKER_01

There are 90 items, I've counted them on this slide that were in anniversary, and you said that wasn't even all of them.

SPEAKER_00

I couldn't get them all to fit. That's the mistake. Okay, that's the mistake. Um, and I think everybody's nodding their head, listening, going, Yeah, I don't uh but you don't have to have it that way. Actually, it's better to simplify the inventory on your website. Keep it simple. It's okay to have crossover. Um, it's okay to have a dozen roses in birthday and a dozen roses in anniversary and in bestsellers, right?

SPEAKER_04

Right, right.

SPEAKER_00

It's okay to have a dish garden in those three things. I mean, there are certain items that you can cross over and do many times. Also think about what you want to order. So step back and think of it like a customer. Make sure what you're offering is fresh and on trend. It's what you want to make, um, that your website represents your brand. All of those things are important. I again, it may feel overwhelming because if I was looking at that anniversary category as a florist, I'd go, this is gonna take me forever to filter through this. So I would say start with your homepage because that is the number one seller. So start there and then, you know, work your way through the categories.

SPEAKER_01

So, what we try to do at Flower Click is use similar flowers or the same flowers in different categories in different sizes. So on the picture, Cammy has selected that we have a $65 arrangement with free spirit roses, carnations, and mini green hydrangeas. And we also have those same flowers in one for an anniversary that's $149 and in birthday at 95. Similar flowers, well, actually, same flowers, different sizes, so that you don't have to have 90 different arrangements with all of the different varieties of flowers, which is impossible as we know. So the crossover in same flowers, different categories is the same that you're talking about. Dozen roses can be an anniversary and birthday and best sellers without a problem, right?

SPEAKER_00

Or half a dozen roses that are in get well. So that might be a less expensive than anniversary, but you're using the same product, right? Just think smarter, don't work so hard. I think the biggest thing I have is let the website work for you instead of you always being a slave to your website.

SPEAKER_03

Love that. I also think you mentioned a little bit ago, make sure your website reflects you and your brand and your style. Do you like what's on the website? And what I've noticed, I don't know if it's because of pandemic and sourcing flowers, or if it's, I really think it's because of the reflection of our members' websites, they're getting so many people call that are completely fine with a designer's choice because they're looking at the website and going, wow, this is a phenomenal designer, these are gorgeous. Yeah, you know, as long as you have it pink and yellow, I don't care what you put in it. So, again, from the buyer's perspective, if it's a nice, clean, vibrant website and it's reflecting the kind of style, if you don't have this certain arrangement, I'm gonna be really okay with the designer taking creative license. I just did that last week. I was ordering flowers, Vonda, and and you know, I I loved the website, it was gorgeous. And the salesperson was like, Would you like me to, you know, offer some suggestions to what color? And I was like, Yes, I would love to see what you come up with. I was and it was gorgeous, it was gorgeous.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, it was. We saw pictures. And just to finish too, my point, uh well, actually Vonda's point, you mentioned those three different arrangements that one is in anniversary, one is in birthday. To give a picture of that, a visual picture, you might think the standard is in best sellers, the deluxe is in birthday, and the premium is in anniversary. And that's really a lot of what we do when we do photo shoots for our designs is we'll take it, you know, separate standard, deluxe, premium, but we're taking these separate pictures so that we can do that and we can place those, and the florists can easily fill any order that comes in off their website. They love it.

SPEAKER_01

But we like to say, have what you sell, sell what you have.

SPEAKER_00

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

So, common mistake number three.

SPEAKER_00

Common mistake number three would be underpricing your products and designs. It's huge, and just assuming that the designs on your website are already profitably priced.

SPEAKER_01

Because we know they're not. I mean, I think that anyone who's listening today can tell us that the price of flowers is so much higher. I just want to say it's higher than I've ever seen as far as the wholesale prices of flowers. And so we look at our websites and we say, wow, can we do those designs at the prices that they are actually featured on their website? And most of the time the answer is no. And when you look at those and you get those orders in, let's say when you get that order in and you go, Oh, how did they find that Cube arrangement for $39.99? You know, you and your designers are just like up in arms. But the truth of the matter is you're in charge of making sure that your prices are correct on your website. That is not the responsibility of the person who is hosting your website. It's not the platform's responsibility, it is each and every person who has a website. It's your responsibility. So we actually walked through one of the recipes with market prices of flowers to take your flowers, correct markup, make sure you have labor in there. And they're so underpriced that I said to Cammy and to the team time and time again, is if that arrangement is underpriced by $25, how much money you are giving away. So you're losing $25 of revenue per arrangement. The number of arrangements coming off your website has more than doubled from last year, and you're giving money away. And that's why we've had so many shops go out of business.

We do. And if you're busy making these designs, but you're just spinning your wheels, you're just busy. You're not profitable. There's a difference, right, between being busy and being profitable. And um, I mean, I've had a few shops, most of our shops that we deal with, and I look at their numbers monthly, most of them are up in order numbers and average order value, but there are some that are that are actually even in order numbers or even maybe a little bit down, but their revenue is so much more because their average order value is higher because they've priced it correctly, and they're not just making things and giving them away. Right. And that's the key.

SPEAKER_01

Huge. We love what we do, but we do want to make money.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_01

That's the idea. That's right. So that kind of wraps it, right? Those are the three mistakes and great solutions to really make a difference.

SPEAKER_00

For sure. I'd say take a step back, look at it from the customer's perspective, think of some ways you can add a little personality. You don't just have to take what you've been given. There are a lot of tools and ways to customize it and make it yours.

SPEAKER_01

And it's a great summer project, or you can call FlowerClick because we can do it for you.

SPEAKER_00

I would love that. That would be great.

SPEAKER_03

All right, Cami, we're gonna wrap up, and you know I have to end with a very important question that I pose to every guest. And even when we don't have guests, Fond asked to answer it. What is inspiring you right now?

SPEAKER_00

What's inspiring me right now? I have to tell you guys a little story. I always talk about my kids. Every time you have me on here, they're my life, right? They are well, you do have triplets for people that don't know. I have triplets, triplet girls, they just turned 12. I don't have hobbies. Okay, like outside of work, my kids are my life right now because they're very busy, they're in sports, they're in all the things.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Um, but they went to church camp this week. They're at church camp, and it's just it's just like five days, little five short days. I got a text this morning from a friend of mine that's a counselor there, and she's and here's I'm just gonna read it to you. She says, I'm gonna tell you something. Your daughter Izzy just won an additional 3,000 points for her color team for bringing a fart machine to breakfast and and gaining the favor of the camp director. He loved it so much, he played it in the mic at breakfast, saying, You can't go wrong with an old-fashioned fart machine. You can't, and that's the dang truth, guys. I don't know where she got this machine. I don't even know how or where the kid, but she she's resourceful, has so much joy, this child of mine. And I have people message me all the time saying, You'll never believe what Izzy did. And I mean, I have these, I have three, they're all unique in their own way. But Izzy, she keeps you laughing, so that inspired me today. I I'm I'm kind of proud of her. Super proud of her. Yeah, it reminds me of Lori as a child.

SPEAKER_03

I would totally bring a fart machine to church camp. It just sounds reasonable.

SPEAKER_00

I mean totally, why not? Well, she said, she I said, where did she get that? And I said, LOL. She said, I have no idea, but it gave the whole camp a good laugh. Yep, and I thought, I love that. I love that.

SPEAKER_03

I bet here's a persistent, here's what I'm picturing. Someone in her in the girls' side, somebody brought it. They're a little more shy, right? They wanted to be brave enough, and Izzy was like, Give it to me. I'll let me run with it.

SPEAKER_00

I will make you proud. And she did 3,000 extra points for her color team.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, gotta do all in the name of Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

The green team may just win it because of the heart machine.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that is a hard one to follow. I know, too.

SPEAKER_03

But uh Vonda, what about you? What's inspiring you?

SPEAKER_01

What's inspiring me is you know, we just passed Father's Day, and I had the cutest Father's Day card that I was giving from my dog. Okay, right? And it says, from your loving, adoring dog, when I want to play, you get me a toy. When I want to eat, you feed me. When I listen to you, I get a treat. Boy, you are easier to train than I thought. And I just think it's so adorable, and it's so true because you know your life kind of revolves around that little pet of yours, and they just train us. We think we train them, but they train us. It just gave me a chuckle and it just inspired me a little bit.

SPEAKER_03

That's cute. That is so cute, yes, Lori. Well, uh, you guys both have little hard acts to follow. Um, because typically I have a funny story, but I am just inspired this week because today, again, is Tuesday. If you're listening to the day we launched this, this upcoming weekend is the face-to-face Texas State Floral Association. Um Texas State Expo. And I'm super excited to be with people and you know, other florists and business people. And so I'm going to, it's here in Houston, which is pretty awesome. So I'm just driving down there, but I'm really inspired. I was talking to a few of them yesterday, and one actually just called as we were on here. I need to call her back, but I'm I'm very inspired, and I think it will rejuvenate me. And I'll come back and probably share tons of information. Who knows?

SPEAKER_01

You will, but you were asked to be on a panel.

SPEAKER_03

I was. Yes, I'm on a panel. Derek Myers is a panelist in C, and there's a group of us on a panel, so it should be really fun because that's my favorite type of thing. The more interactive the situation, the better. So I'm very inspired for it. Just excited to see people. Yay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's exciting, and we'll look forward to hearing how it went next week.
