Show Notes

Friends… we’ve hit episode #40 today. 40! And to celebrate, I have a very special guest on the show who I confront with a question – is blogging dead?

The answer – of course not – but the landscape has changed, and so have the players.

That’s right – to ring in #40, I have Chris Myles of benjisdad.com here to talk with you about:

  • The very direct orders he received which sent him on his entrepreneurial journey
  • Some of the roadblocks and mistakes he made as he tried to launch his career as a new blogger (some good lessons here!)
  • How he has been diversifying his income from the beginning – even when he didn’t always have a ton to invest
  • How to make your blog Google’s BFF to soar up in the rankings
  • The first thing you need to do before you even write your first post
  • The biggest mistakes Chris sees bloggers make when they’re starting out
  • How affiliate marketing changed his income game… and how to do it without being icky

If you’ve wondered how blogging can fit into your business but you aren’t sure how to get started, you don’t want to miss this interview – so here it is, my chat with Chris Myles.

More about Chris

My name is Chris Myles and I am a full-time blogger, youtuber, and podcaster host. When I first began, the entire purpose was to gain a 2nd income so that my wife could quit her job to take care of our newborn son, Benji. I tried a lot of things and failed, but when I gave blogging a try, it caught on... in a BIG way. Now I teach others how to do the same thing.
