Not just passing moments, but chronic depression. But today I stand in a different place. I've moved from chronic depression to only experiencing episodes of depression. And that shift came from learning how to fight back with intention. I became proactive. I made a decision to show up for myself every single day. That means fueling my body with foods that support my mental health, setting and accomplishing at least two goals a day, even in 15-minute increments, and moving my body. Yes, even swimming, because movement is medicine. These are not just habits, they are lifelines. And now I'm here to share them with you because no one should have to fight this silent battle alone.
