The Utah Women & Leadership Project recently published a research snapshot on the status of Black women in Utah. Additionally, the UWLP published a summary of the two community conversations the UWLP held for Black women in Utah to listen to and document their experiences. This episode will discuss the findings of the research snapshot and the community conversations summary. Dr. Susan Madsen, Founding Director of the Utah Women & Leadership Project, is joined by Marin Christensen, who was a co-author on the snapshot and also co-host of the two community conversations with Black women, and LeiLoni Allan, who worked with Marin to coordinate and host the two community conversations.
