Recently, the Utah Women & Leadership Project published a research snapshot on the status of Hispanic and Latina women in Utah. Additionally, the UWLP published a summary of the two community conversations the UWLP held for Hispanic and Latina women in Utah to listen to and document their experiences. This episode will discuss the findings of the research snapshot and the community conversations summary. Dr. Susan Madsen, Founding Director of the Utah Women & Leadership Project, is joined by Dr. Jessi Hill, from Utah Valley University, who was the lead author on the research snapshot on the status of Utah Hispanic women, and is a Hispanic woman herself; and Marin Christensen, who was a co-author on the snapshot and also co-host of the two community conversations with Hispanic and Latina women.
