From Lawn Care to Leadership in Multifamily - Chief Investment Officer of Ginkgo Residential, Scott Wilkerson
In this episode, Leslie chats with a Chief Investment Officer whose career in multifamily housing spans over 38 years. He reveals his humble beginnings as an exterior decorator, cutting grass, and how his hard work, dedication, and strategic involvement in apartment associations paved the way for his rise to leadership. Scott serves as Chief Investment Officer for Ginkgo Residential. His multifamily experience spans more than 38 years including 14 years as President and CEO of BNP Residential Properties, a publicly traded REIT. He received a BS degree in accounting from UNC Charlotte and is both a CPA and a real estate broker. Scott has served as a Regional Vice President for the NAA and President of both the Apartment Association of NC and the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association.
