Hello! I'm Teacher Kay (a.k.a. Kay샘). Nice to meet you all!

I've taught Korean at all levels for over 20 years, beginning at The Ohio State University, then at Columbia University, and later as the section head of Korean at Portland State University. After moving to Korea in 2018, I started this podcast to help Korean learners better understand the language with clarity and gain confidence in speaking Korean.

I hold an Ed.M. in Language, Literacy, and Technology from Columbia University and an M.A. in East Asian Languages & Cultures from The Ohio State University, where I met my mentor. I earned my B.A. from Williams College, where I studied Japanese and learned about the art of language pedagogy from my Japanese professors.

With extensive teaching experience and training, I promise to deliver only quality content to the listeners of this podcast. With that promise, I hope to see you in the next episode, everyone!
