Well, hello, everyone, and welcome to the podcast for this week, this week, it's a little bit of sweet, because this is going to be my last podcast for now.

I'm finding myself having another Not Over Just Different moment in my life.

And I have some big projects coming up that really require a lot of my attention. So I'll tell you a little bit about that here in the podcast. But as you may remember, if you had been with me for some time that the reason that this podcast is called not over just different is because it really does describe big times where I've made big transitions in my life. You know, I originally coined the phrase after my ex husband, Glen and I separated and, you know, remained business partners and remained friends. And I'm like, Dude, I remember marriage might be over, but our relationship isn't over, it's just morphing into something different. So yeah, so where I'm at another one of those crossroads. And I find myself doing this often. And, you know, sometimes I have to take stock. Because and you may relate to this, if you're listening to the podcast, that sometimes I burned myself out a little.

I remember when I was a kid, my mother would go out, you're always burning the candle at both ends. And that seems to be the story of my life. But as I get older, it's like, okay, this is not wise, this is not something that can be sustained for a long period of time. And so I have to, you know, reassess, and take stock. Now, at the beginning of the year, will actually, at the end of last year, I had a message coming through and one of my meditations about, you know, how to really make a difference, how am I showing up in that way of making a difference now, and you know, you got to listen to that voice, you got to listen to that message when it comes through. And I started with an in person retreat, which I held in February here in LA, which was the beginning of that. And so now, this has morphed into a whole complete coaching certification program, that I'll be running here through the mind movies company. So what that looks like is it's a year long program, it has come we have a complete unique mind movies modality, or my movies method that we will be rolling out, which, you know, as we do, we'd like to combine all the esoteric, the practical, and technology. And so the program is really all about having working on you first, getting you ready to be the coach or be the messenger that, you know, that can make a difference in the world. Because, you know, our audience here is women who are at this time in their life, who, and I'm sure you can identify this with this has had a lot of experience, you know, you've got had a lot of, you know, gone through a lot of things and been able to, to triumph and come through the other side. And so this program was really for you.

Because I want to help you to be able to, to get that message, that story, that experience that you have, and channeled that into a way that you can make a difference. So the first part of the program is all about, you know, helping you to get rid of those old layers, you know, how to become the person to step into this new role, this new part of your life. And the second part is, you know, really going through teaching you the modality, and all the coaching processes and all that kind of thing. And then the last one is, you know, how you build your business. And so it'll be very simple stuff that you will easily be able to do. And of course, with AI these days, oh my goodness, there seems to be so many amazing tools out there that takes a lot of the grunt work out of, you know, the things that we would have to do ourselves. And if you know the mind movie story, you know, Glenn and I and our ex partner Ryan came to the US with no money with and just, you know, with this great idea about mind movies and spent, you know, six months, working 10 hours from, you know, a little bedrooms in this little apartment we had in San Diego, in Ocean Beach underneath the flight path of San Diego airport, but we in our 40s we're learning everything afresh, like I had to learn how to edit videos and the only thing I had ever done on the computer before used was word and bookkeeping. MYOB was the program I was using. So learning how to edit videos and my emails and autoresponders and all these things that were kind of way outside our comfort zone.

And, you know, getting through all of that. So, we had that moment in our life. Then fast forward to now where you know, I really feel like again, this is stretching me a little bit. And for me, life is all about that. It's all about the stretching.

So I don't know about you, but you know, do you find yourself getting complacent? Like I, if something's easy for me, and I'm kind of going through the motions, I think I get a little depressed, I get a little something, it's very difficult for me to be motivated, because it's like I, you know, done this before, it's, you know, I need a challenge. Well, I've challenged myself with two things. So one thing is that coaching program, the coaching accreditation program. So if you want to find out more information about that, just email me Natalie at my movies.com. And I can give you some, some more information on that. The other thing, which leads me to now, which is my other not over just different moment, which I have spoken about quite a bit over the last podcasts is the school curriculum, the social and emotional learning, or the emotional intelligence and life skills program that I created with my colleague, Debbie Selden, Debbie has a couple of master's degrees in child psychology and play and a few things, she works with kids in trauma. And we created a curriculum for K to 12.

And the curriculum is really designed to help kids build their self esteem, you know, to take on skills and qualities things like empathy and compassion, you know, how to deal with bullying, how to have that really strong self image, identifying what your, your sense of belonging is, where it is that you belong, you know, how to self regulate your emotions, you know, so all of these things is is in that particular curriculum. And I've been working pretty hard with a another colleague of mine, DeAndre Dr. Deandra Fleming, and we have been, you know, doing a lot of interviews and presentations, and so forth. But what we've also been called to because the curriculum is done, which is great, but we've also been called to how we can help teachers.

Now, I don't know if you know this, but in the last year or so, there's been over 300,000, teachers leave the profession, they are burnt out, they are overwhelmed. I think it's same with the mental issues that are happening with our children right now. They were there, they have been there for a while. But the pandemic has completely tipped everything and exaggerated and brought everything to the top. And so now we're also working on how we support the teachers, and how we get them to a place where they get excited about being a teacher and remember why they got into the profession, and love what they do again, so So yeah, so this is taking a lot more of the bandwidth that I have. So that program is called Personal Growth studies. It is, you know, you can go to personal growth studies.com to find out some more about that. And again, if you'd like some information, or if you have a child in school, and you know, we'd like a program like this in their school, just email me, Natalie, at my movies.com. And I can send you some information on that.

So if you were here for the first time, or you're just coming across the US so you, you haven't been listening to the podcast for very long, I highly encourage that you go back and look at the back catalogue of some of the the podcasts that I have recorded. The reason I started the podcast in the first place was because I really wanted to open up a candid conversation for women in their mid middle range age, about subjects that sometimes we never talk about. I think if you don't have close girlfriends or you don't have you know, like a circle that are open to doing that. Sometimes we suffer through a lot of things or we we go through things and we're not really I don't know whether this is normal, or, you know, is anyone else going through this, and I really wanted to be able to bring those conversations not just the subject themselves, but how to have those conversations, which was really important to me. And so we have covered a lot of subjects you know, we have talked about female friendship at this time of your life.

We've talked about all things menopause, things like money, how to handle money, especially as a woman at this time of your life. Things like you know sex and love and marriage and divorce and you know, image therapy and spiritual consciousness and conscious conversation and, and how to age gracefully. You know, all of these different subjects that we have covered over the last couple of years I think I started this at the beginning of 2020 You know when the pandemic went pandemic was on and and so we've I really feel like I'm very proud of what I've been able to achieve over the last couple of years, and I really love that a lot of the conversations that we've had.

And if I was to choose some of my favorites I would definitely say Dr. Anna Chewbacca is one of my favorites. Dr. Anna is actually a friend actually, most of the women that I have had on this podcast, either are my friends or have become my friends because they were on the podcast. And we started a relationship from that. But Dr. Anna, her motto is, you know, menopause is mandatory, but suffering through it isn't. And she's a gynecologist. I think she lives in Dallas at the moment. And she is determined to do whatever she can to help alleviate some of the crazy symptoms that we that we have to suffer through. And when we go through menopause, she has a couple of amazing products. And but I mean, like I said, it was a very lively conversation. One of my favorite products, which I can highly recommend is Java. So Java is a cream that you use on your vulva, I actually use it as part of my daily skincare routine, I had my face cream, I have my body cream, I have my vulva cream. And it really does help to plump up and keep everything lubricated. And really help to enhance you know, your pleasure while you're having sex. So I really highly recommend that she's got some great marker products as well, you know, things for your lips, like a whole bunch of things. But she is an amazing woman. And I really love the fact that she's doing everything she can to help us all.

Another one that I really loved was my dating coach Carol Allen, it was particularly great, because Carol was the woman that helped me find Bert. And I met Bert in 2012, August of 2020, we actually have just celebrated three years, and we had a third year anniversary, which was amazing. And we're in such a great place. And if it wasn't for Carol, we may never have met. I really because I actually did have a couple of profiles up. And Carol asked if she could check them out. And I'm like, Okay, let's you know, so when I got on a phone call with her, she's like, all right now, you know, I love you, which I knew, I'm like, Okay, I better prepare myself for what's coming next. And she had some very simple, but very powerful and profound advice on how we present ourselves online when we're looking for a partner. Now, I should know this, because we have been online marketing for 15 years with my movies, but you know, you kind of don't equate that with with your dating profile. And she said, look, the number one purpose of your dating profile is for your potential partner to be able to read it and look at it and imagine what it's like to be in relationship with you. Like, oh, okay, and she goes, like, for example, this particular profile, she goes, Are you going for a job interview? And I went, Well, no, but I thought if I, you know, tell them that I'm successful, and I have money that I don't need them for money that maybe that's like a plus. And she goes, No, they just look at that and think she's too busy for me. And I'm like, Oh, okay. And then there was another one where I'm like, I want someone who's willing to expand and grow and learn. And she goes, she goes, all they hear is she wants to change me. I'm like, oh, no, I'm thinking I've never been able to put myself into the mind of a man and understand that. And so and so, you know, I had my new profile up, I think for like two or three weeks before Bert reached out and, and you know, and it's it's been a it's been a wonderful ride.

The other person that we can really say thank you to and I'm very grateful to is another one of my favorite podcasts is Brandy Gilmore. So brandy has been my coach for a number of years. And she also has this amazing ability to be able to figure out, you know, what the what your programs are, what your triggers are, what it what it is that is helping you or making you react in certain ways. And, you know, Bert and I certainly went through our trigger the trigger stage where my trigger was triggering his trigger and vice versa. And some of the best advice that I got from her was, you know, when we did a session together, she goes, okay, but here's your program, and here's where it comes from. Not here's your program, and here's where it comes from. Now, you can either solve it and you know, heal it and work on it, or you can just take it to the next relationship. What would you prefer to do? Like, again, that's pretty simple. So So you know, that was a fantastic podcast a really high Highly recommend that you listen to that. And listen to her podcast. Brandy Gilmore. It's amazing, I forget, forget what she calls it. But it was awesome. And I would probably say that my most favorite. And this is one of the podcasts I did in the very beginning, was when I had my close circle of girlfriends, we are all on the podcast together, and all having a really expanded and grounded and beautiful conversation about what it's like to have female relationships at this time of our life. So I had Zhena Muzyka, who's amazing woman, she has her own company club Magic Hour IO, it's amazing biodynamic, organic teas that will blow your mind, I highly recommend that you check that out. We have Cindy Erdman, who's an amazing close friend of mine, Melanie Benson, who also has a pump podcast called amplify your success, which, you know, if you're in business, I encourage you to check that out. And Susan Leahy, so we were all just talking about how it's interesting that in the beginning of your life, how everything can be so competitive, women can be very competitive.

And I found it really difficult to have female friendships, you know, when I was younger, because I always, I don't know, maybe it was a difficult person to be a friend with because, you know, I had very high standards are very strong willed, I was, you know, I didn't really care a lot about what other people thought. And so they could have been challenging to be friends with me at that time of your life. But after Glen and I separated, these women were my lifeline. They were able to show up in a way that was so nurturing and so supportive. And you know, all the little things that may have bothered you when you were younger, like, Oh, my God, you haven't called me for a week, or you didn't show up to this thing, or whatever that is, you know, we realize that that isn't important. We don't have to worry about those kinds of things. And we also had the ability to that if something does upset us, we don't sue about it, we don't talk about it to other people behind their back, we're able to sit down in a conversation and go look, you hurt me or that that made me feel a certain way. And we can have those conversations without you know, getting upset or triggered or anything like that. Because, you know, we understand the value of what a relationship like that means in our life right now. So that's one of the very first ones so I encourage you to check that out as well.

So I think a friend of mine was joking, he goes So wait a second, is it not different but over. We are getting to the end of the podcast now. And I want to thank you if you have been subscribing and listening for some time. Thank you so much for doing that. I hope that I have been able to provide the information and the entertainment and the candid conversations and everything that I set out to do. I hope that that was your experience that you had an amazing experience. And if you haven't checked out some all of the podcasts, now would be a good time to go back and reminisce perhaps. So I'm signing off for now. And and you never know. As things change. I like to be fluid, like stepping into the unknown, and this may resume again. So have a fantastic day. And bye for now.
