Piggy Banks and Kid Money
Speaker 1Piggy banks all over the house.
Speaker 2Give me another one.
Speaker 1No, you have piggy banks all over the house. And what did you say?
Speaker 2They're using old vases.
Speaker 1No, you said, when they get full, they just throw them away.
Speaker 2This doesn't mean shit to me, Dad.
Speaker 3Because it's full. Wait what I missed it too.
Speaker 1I said that Tony's kids have six piggy banks each, and then Tony's like they don't give a shit when they get, or when they get full, they throw them away. He figured, oh, because they're used up, tony's carrying his garbage to the end of the street.
Speaker 3And it's super heavy. I had to borrow $20 for my kid's piggy bank. Uh-oh, I put it back. She didn't even know If she ever hears this. I borrowed 20 bucks.
Speaker 1I had no cash, you gave it back.
Speaker 3I gave it right back the only time I ever do that. That girl probably has a count in her head. If I took it, she'd know for sure.
Speaker 1When I get delivery, I steal singles from my kids. This is my tip. Here's my tip you don't pay them back. Yeah, probably.
Speaker 3You know, I pay him back with a dime every fucking time you pay him back in Robux.
Speaker 1My son spends money on Roblox. He's just spent like $500.
Speaker 3Roblox had like 35 or 65 million concurrent players last weekend or something like that. I heard it was like a record. All those people playing that one game at the same time. They must be making so much money, dude.
Speaker 1I heard something about them being closed down or getting shut down. Why, I don't know. My son was telling me that.
Speaker 2I last Saturday, when I saw my kids, I made both of them delete Roblox off their devices.
Speaker 3Why it's such an awesome creative game.
Speaker 1It's a predator spot. All the predators look for young kids and want to hang out?
Speaker 3Oh, give me a break, girl.
Speaker 1Hey, they come out with those box dicks and like hey, look at this swinging around.
Speaker 2So do you understand right now that Chris Hansen is involved?
Speaker 3He's inside Roblox pretending to be someone who's offering you a warm cookie. Please sit down, we'll be right back.
Speaker 1So I want to tell you that I'm. Chris Hansen from Dateline you got to be kidding me, no Dead serious, chris Hansen Chris.
Speaker 3Hansen Dateline. You gotta be kidding me. No, dead serious, chris Hansen. Chris Hansen, I believe it's happening. People are sickos. Yeah, roblox.
Speaker 1They have Roblox Predator. You know how. They have just random people on YouTube busting dudes, trying to get under their skits.
Speaker 3They're busting people on Roblox for clicks now.
Speaker 1Yes, and I actually you don't think.
Speaker 390% of this shit's set up by the person trying to run the YouTube channel.
Speaker 1No, you know how many, like you just said, 65, what, how many million were on there?
Speaker 3Yeah, but you can't take your kids to a county park with that mentality though, Because that shit goes. The sickos are everywhere.
Speaker 1You're there. You're not there in Roblox world. Roblox world, they're by themselves.
Speaker 3Well, not really Not, if you don't let them play by themselves.
Speaker 1So you watch them as they're playing.
Speaker 3I don't watch her directly, but I know exactly what's going on. You don't. You don't know what's going on A pretty good portion of it, yeah Okay, oh yeah, you're naive, you're naive Okay.
Speaker 2I'm going to be the first to admit that I don't know.
Speaker 3Just every once in a while I play with her sometimes.
Speaker 2I hear something off to the side like Motherfucker.
Speaker 3She's not allowed to go into most of the games that are public servers like that.
Speaker 2You mean when you're around. She can't go in.
Speaker 3Okay, I will grant you that I don't know. I think we're watching it. I think Kate's watching it.
Speaker 1Where is she? Who watches her in the summer? Your wife doesn't work, right? She's a teacher. She's a teacher, so she doesn't work, so is she watching the Roblox.
Speaker 3As much as she's watching what I'm doing during the day.
Speaker 2I feel like your wife's building fences.
Speaker 3She's digging ditches. No, I have no doubt that the risk is there. I'm not going to pretend it's not and I'm not gonna uh limit my kid from playing this game, though this game's phenomenal for children, for for development of like engineering skills. I mean, there's a lot of bologna on it too.
Speaker 1But you don't really build a lot of stuff in roblox. That's minecraft. Roblox is more of like a little world of games, and so you don't watch them no, it's all games because I fucking see my conflating the two games also. Totally minecraft is the word conflating. I've used that a couple times, without actually I don't know for sure. You know it sounded good to me. It was like. It was like what is there?
Speaker 3I'm mixing the two together it sounded you know, I don know.
Speaker 2So I just look at it like this Would I let my kid, like I don't know, go into a Walmart by himself, just hang out there all day, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Speaker 1You're equating the online world to a Walmart store which.
Speaker 2Walmart, it doesn't matter which one dude, a Walmart in rural America Half of the government.
Speaker 3Tif programs for low-income homes require proximity to a Walmart or a super center.
Speaker 1Really.
Speaker 2Similar items yeah.
Speaker 3If you want to build. Why do you think they're? Remember when there wasn't a Walmart in that shopping center by your apartment? There there was one. There was a different store, it was like a whatever. But Walmart's taken over everywhere.
Speaker 1I'm not saying that's directly why, but then, all of a sudden, it's Walmart and then it's Quick Trip.
Speaker 2I don't really go to Walmart and I just assume that most Walmarts are filled with all the child molesters. I mean, am I wrong? Are they hiding? Are they hiding All?
Speaker 3right, let's dig into this after this break. Hi, thanks for listening to Top Shelf Stories. It's a podcast where three guys talk about their lives. Today's episode is sponsored by Walmart Walmart, a convenience store within your community.
Speaker 2Thanks for shopping Now back to the show top shelf stories. So anyway, I just imagine walmart is like 80 child predators. It might be.
Speaker 1In my head I think it's actually higher when I watch the predator shit on youtube, that's usually where they meet up.
Speaker 3Yeah, this is walmart parking lot of the walmart. I think you can also. I do think you can camp overnight in Walmart parking lots. I do believe I've even done it before. I think you can do it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm pretty sure In a whole bunch of them Was there a concert Like did it ban a van?
Speaker 2I met someone halfway, yeah, Did it ban a top of Walmart building.
Speaker 3I met someone halfway and left my van there and we drove in from there Cool In their truck. But yeah, go on, so drive molesting Walmart.
Speaker 2I just imagine the children's section at Walmart is just filled with old men just looking for children.
Speaker 1What would you call Target, then? What's Target, target's?
Speaker 2like where all the Predators' wives shop.
Speaker 3It's where they send their wives and they go to be Predator-ing.
Speaker 2I just have.
Speaker 3All right, honey, you're 60 bucks. You go to the Target. I got to grab something.
Speaker 2I have to return something. As soon as a child Predator's wife says I'm going to Target, he's like, all right, I'll be at.
Speaker 1Walmart. I'm pretty to Target. He's like all right, I'll be at Walmart. I'm pretty sure Target doesn't have what I'm looking for. I know Walmart does, so I'll meet you in 20.
Speaker 2I don't know, but like I, just if I know that there's a risk of any, really even my kid talking to an adult. Like an adult that he doesn't know. I don't want that. Who wants that, I mean?
Speaker 3you're not wrong with that.
Speaker 1Well, if you're an adult, a normal adult, you're not going to go up to a kid and start talking to them, especially if they're alone. You're going to be like where the fuck are your parents? That's what you're going to say.
Speaker 2You're going to say where the fuck are your parents? That's you're gonna say. You say where the fuck your parents are gonna be like hey, what are you looking for? You, gotta, I can help you find it. So it's this, it's this algorithm shit. So my kids have been like intense on roblox, okay and uh. So every time they're around me, that's what they're talking about, like oh, you know this fucking game, blah, blah, blah.
Speaker 2So my phone now thinks that I'm super into roblox and now you're the predator my whole facebook algorithm is nothing but videos no talking about child predators on roblox and I watched, I don't know, probably two hours worth one day.
Speaker 2I just it's pretty interesting I just sat and watched them and how the games a lot of the games on there have uh, uh. There's games that have uh bathrooms you can go into and when you go into the bathrooms it's fucking naked people in them. And there there was one bathroom the dude was showing like he was playing it he was an adult, I'm sure, kid predator, um, and he was showing going into these bathrooms and there's just like all these fucking weird uh the like blocky looking figures in there. Yeah, all just having fucking straight orgies in the bathroom I swear to god, I've never seen that dude, we're talking about it right now.
Speaker 2You're gonna see these videos later today, god damn it.
Speaker 3I should turn my phone off when we have these podcasts and uh, and then I started watching.
The Chris Hansen Connection
Speaker 2there was this teenager who, actually Roblox, took legal action against him because he was being I don't know what's it called predatored by all these dudes, by all these, by these dudes, and he ended up getting them like three or four of them he ended up getting them arrested.
Speaker 2So that's what he was doing, so like a so now side job. No, he is like they were just fucking coming after me and and uh, trying to get me to do shit that I shouldn't be doing. And he fucking had him arrested and then he started talking about it on his channel and Roblox sent him a cease and desist and they took legal action against him.
Speaker 1Oh, okay, I see what you're saying. For talking about child predators To defame Roblox. So Roblox didn't want, him Didn't want.
Speaker 2So Robloxx is gonna do that to us now basically, and walmart defending the predators by saying you know you can't fucking talk about this, I get it and uh, and then next video. I see it's this kid working together with chris hansen to take down fucking predators.
Speaker 1And chris, I can't get over it and then he like he's like wait, he gained a lot of weight, like this is the older age. Yeah, I mean, did you see him like personally, or did you? See roblox character. Are you mistaking chris hansen?
Speaker 3for Quinones the what would you do guy.
Speaker 1Is that who that is? What would you do? They're a different color skin, whatever.
Speaker 2But then I seen a video with Chris Hansen talking about how out of control Roblox is with child predators and he's taking action against it and he's taking action against it. And then these other chicks that run. It was this black girl and I seen a bunch of her videos and she runs some website dedicated to keeping your child safe on the internet, and talking about all the things that roblox, uh, basically offers your children was her name predator blocks probably, I don't know.
Speaker 1I mean, that'd be a perfect name, but uh but you know I watched all this shit.
Speaker 2I sent a bunch of it to my wife. Like I got a bunch of these videos saved, I sent them all to her, don't save them. And then I went. I got home, seen my kids and I'm like I know you guys aren't going to like this. I'm expecting you guys to be really upset with me, but here's the fucking deal.
Speaker 3You told them why you're taking it away? Because there's predators on there.
Speaker 1Here's the best thing You're not with your kids right now and they're probably playing Roblox.
Speaker 3So you go on.
Speaker 2I mean, unless they're downloading it, creating an account, playing it and then deleting it.
Speaker 1I think there's an invisible Roblox that you can download.
Speaker 3What did you tell them? Just the Roblox app.
Speaker 2They just change the icon. Yeah, they just change everything about it.
Speaker 3It just says school stuff. They'll never go in there. What did you tell them? The reason they had to delete it was I told them that there's grown men who probably shop at Walmart.
Speaker 1Walmart, wait, do you ever shop at walmart? No, is that because of the predators?
Speaker 3no, because it's not convenient okay I've bought one thing off walmart in probably 25 years off of walmart where you.
Speaker 1I did it online and it was a car battery, or marine or whatever battery yeah, I don't go there. We'll go there for food and snacks and shit if we're like going out of town or something, but besides that, yeah but I, uh, you know this, this fucking kid shit dude, I, I wasn't.
Walmart: The Predator Hot Spot?
Speaker 2I don't know how to say this without being being crazy and weird. Well, the um, so don't worry, I do that too. I knew I knew somebody very well who ended up being a child predator from roblox, no well I'm shopping I don't know. I I don't know if he was just hanging out in walmart parking lots at the little three horse carousel that's out in front, or if he was on video games fucking getting kids, or whatever. You know him personally I know him personally.
Speaker 1so how personal has there been your house? No well, that's not that personal then it's pretty.
Speaker 3I do this podcast with you nearly every Tuesday and I don't think you've been to my house. Yeah, I have. I don't think I've been to yours. I've been to your ma's house, oh.
Speaker 1I invite you to my mom's house more than I do my own.
Speaker 3Every time I go to your mom's house. She's wet, though. Because how she's wet though, because she's in the pool, but still chris is going.
Speaker 2Like the thing is, that's what your mom sounds like is when this dude, when this dude got arrested and put in prison, like I was in fucking shock, like I did not see it coming and uh I mean, he's not gonna have a shirt that says I, I like little children.
Speaker 1You don't fucking just know that.
Speaker 2But you know, I just imagine like if I were walking through the aisle at Walmart I would be able to go like this dude fucks with kids, this dude, I don't know.
Speaker 1This dude's a fucking creep. You're in Walmart, okay, you don't go in there. But if you went to Walmart, you'd stereotype everyone in there A predator detector?
Speaker 3Can I do this?
Speaker 1Can you go into Walmart one time and I'm going to give you a thing of stickers and I want you to put a sticker on someone's shoulder when they're not looking, and then that's a sticker that resembles that. This probably is.
Speaker 3And then we'll ask them, and they'll tell us, and we'll know.
Speaker 2It'll be a great show. The circle with the line through the middle and a little picture of an infant on it.
Speaker 1Yeah, they get it on their back. Say what's up, buddy, right in the back.
Speaker 3I'll be like hi, my name's Chris Cheposky and I'm here with Predator Detector and you've been detected as a predator.
Speaker 1Can you?
Speaker 3tell us if you're a predator or not.
Speaker 1If I gave you 12 stickers, how long would it take you to release all those stickers? Can?
Speaker 3we use one of your kids' Get out of here. Can we use one of your guys' boy? Kids' bait, I would be, Wait, wait, I would be right about 10 of them.
Speaker 2Two of them I'd probably you know.
Speaker 3You'd be 8 out of 10. You think you're 8 out of 10? I'd be 10 out of 12.
Speaker 1That's like 85%. You think you're going to be that high, mm-hmm.
Speaker 2I put the sticker on the guy. We send Chris Hansen to his house to go through his computer. We find out what kind of content this guy has.
Speaker 3We've asked 100 Americans and put the top five potential predators on the board. We could turn this into so many different game shows. It would be a great.
Speaker 1It'd be one of those games where everyone could do. You could do your local pick and save this shit makes me sick.
Speaker 2The way I figure about it is that I'm not going to let my kids be at risk at a place that's known for fucking child predators, so I'm not letting them do Roblox. I'm not letting them go to Walmart.
Speaker 3I appreciate what you're doing to try to limit the risk, but you got to explain to them what's going on, you got to send them out in the world. You kind of got to. I think so, but you got to also. You have to tell them what the hell's going on, so that that's not they can look out. For you know, they might have a good predator detector then too. Yeah, you know what I mean tony.
Speaker 1It's the same thing as like back in the day, like if some guy comes up to you when there wasn't computers, there wasn't phones. It's like hey, I got, I got some butterscotch candies. You want to come in my truck? Your kid is smart enough to say no. And if he's not, like in roblox, to get like some weirdo saying some weird stuff, like send me pictures or give me your address then it is weird in roblox that they're doing fake orgies and shit like that is, so that's half senator, his sinister.
Speaker 2So there was a another thing, um, they probably think they're doing fake orgies and shit like that, so that's half senator, his sinister.
Speaker 2So there was a another thing, um they probably think they're not doing anything wrong and they think it's funny yeah, so there there was another thing where, uh, a 10 year old was playing with an adult and, uh, they made a bet before the game, whoever, whoever lost the game and obviously the adult was at a big advantage because he could read and whatnot um, that the loser had to fucking kill themselves and the 10 year old killed himself okay, I think you got pretty deep into the algorithm of this shit. It got pretty deep.
Speaker 3I'm going to tell you on the other side there's none of that shit on my time.
Speaker 2I guess now there will be. And this sounds like I'm making it up, but I explained to my kids. I'm like, look, I said, here's the thing. You guys hear this story and you're like, well, that's dumb, Like I would never do that right I said but logan logan, my kid's about to be.
Tony's Roblox Ban Story
Speaker 2my youngest is about to be, uh, seven years old and my oldest is 12 and I'm like, I'm like, here's the thing, I'm like you guys are really fucking stupid. And I told him like I got honest. I told him I'm like you guys are really fucking stupid. And I told him like I got honest. I told him that I'm like you guys are really stupid. And I'm like, and here's the thing You're very smart for your age, but compared to an adult, you guys are very, very stupid.
Speaker 1The conniving, I know what you're saying. Now they can trick you into gave him.
Speaker 2I gave him an example. I said, look, I'm a grown-up, I'm married, I have children, I have a house payment, I have a car payment, I have a business. I'm running stuff like that. If my friend told me my haircut looks stupid, I would say okay and I would move on.
Speaker 2I and I said to chase, I'm like your friend said your haircut was stupid and you went into like this deep depression where you needed to change your whole fucking hair. I'm like when somebody doesn't like you at school, uh it's, it's like the end all be all of your mood, but like this stuff really affects you and that's why kids um, you know kids have like this high rate of suicide in in, uh in proportion to their like social media use, like what they consider nowadays being bullied on the internet, and and the way it affects these kids, like if I was bullied on the internet and and the way it affects these kids, like if I was bullied on the internet, like. So I made a video one time, um, and I kind of made it knowing that it might gain a little traction, because it was something that was you were bullying your kids on video.
Speaker 2No, no, no. Like I made a video what's up fucker on video? No, no, no. Like I made a video, what's up fucker play so short. And I made it. Uh, it was a work video but I made it so that it would kind of gain like a little bit of controversy, and what I was doing, hoping that people would watch it, it went.
Speaker 2I started getting comments, uh, from this one specific group, because I kind of facebook stalked them. Um, this group out of, fucking, uh, alberta, canada, the quick trip people and uh, quick trip feud. I use this piece of cardboard as like a template for something. And uh, I got a comment on there that said, uh, why don't you take that piece of cardboard you made for this and use it to kill your whole fucking family? And like, as a grown adult, I get that comment and I'm just like, who gives a shit? Like I thought it was hilarious, sure, but a kid is going to take that a lot differently like I. Just, kids are easier to trick, they're easier to fucking talk into stuff, they're easier like when I, when I went through cub scouts and I had to take all the uh child protection training because apparently boy scouts really had an issue at one time.
Speaker 2They were talking about signs that a kid's being abused and grooming a kid for abuse by you know they talked about. Usually, if a kid's being abused, it's by somebody who's very close to them, sure, and they have their trust and this is why they don't tell people and this and that, and I'm just like there's enough fucking risk in the world. I don't need to be. Let my kids, especially at the ages they are, play games where there's no fucking issues about fair enough.
Speaker 3I I'm not here to convince you to tell your kids they can play or be okay with it, but and look, man, I did this shit to my kids in front of their friends at our.
Speaker 2It was at our campground. So they're they're little best friends there who also play roblox, roblox or whatever it's called. You did some community parenting instead of just family parenting, and I I told the girls I'm like yo I'm not your parent, like it's up to your parent what they want to do with you guys, I'm like I'm just letting you know what I know and what my kids are doing and their parents let them stay on it let me see your, let me hear your roblox, uh, education spell.
Speaker 1Roblox r-.
Speaker 2R-O-B-L-U-X.
Speaker 1Oh, is it U? I thought it was O-X. It might be, I don't know. I thought you were going to spell blocks as in B-L-O-C-K-S. No, okay, all right. Well then, yeah, you know what you're talking about.
Speaker 3Well, your kids are probably better off for it.
Speaker 2You're probably not going to be able to avoid but you're, you're reducing the risk, but they're just gonna find a different game, go play madden, there's that shit in madden too, I'm sure people talking shit to the kids oh, I'm sure there's the same thing you're talking about, except for no, chris hansen, it's one one millionth as popular to play madden as it is to play roblox.
Speaker 3So there's probably one, one million.
Speaker 2You gotta look at the amount of issues, and there's one one millionth of the amount of problem you don't look at it as like roblox. Roblox is so popular right now and so many young kids play it that let's just say I was in the market to be a predator and I was looking for a fucking young child.
The Predator Detector Challenge
Speaker 3Well, maybe there's too much competition, so they go to madden. I'm just telling you you're. You are doing a great job of taking out a segment of the problem, but you're not taking your kids out of the problem. What you are doing good and in my opinion, is telling them why and having them know that that shit happens and that they know what to kind of look out for yeah man, because they have to be able to protect themselves obviously yeah, I mean we are a no roblox, no walmart household okay, I mean we're, we're half that.
Speaker 3We don't do walmart, so we're getting close to safety factor. My safety factor is not as high as yours.
Speaker 1My eye looks fucked up.
Speaker 3Jay goes to both Walmart and his kids play Roblox. How are you feeling about your risk level, your safety factor?
Speaker 1I don't want to make this longer than it is, but I'm going to tell you right now. My one kid, the youngest, plays roblox all the fucking time, but he plays with his friends. He's always with his friends. Yeah, that's what my kid is always playing too, but but he's always like always fucking playing that he'll wake up in the morning and go to his ipad, bring it to his bed and fucking play all day long.
Speaker 2Put it, put it on your phone. Put what on my phone, roblox? No, put it on your phone. No, pose as a child and fucking catfish.
Speaker 3Your catfish, your own kid would be a see. If you could fucking do it, that's, it'd be a thing I don't even really.
Speaker 2I mean, I don't talk them into cutting a locket of his mom's hair while she's sleeping and see if it happens that has nothing to do with him, though. No, just see what you can talk your kid into on this platform dude, that's way too weird posing as another nine-year-old kid way too.
Speaker 3Yeah, way too weird. Tony's got a point. It's pseudonymous, synonymous or whatever.
Speaker 1I'll tell you right now those guys, guys that do the getting the predators and fucking pedophiles and catching them in the act and meeting up with them somewhere. They are so famous Like they have so many OK. So I listened to this one dude and he was his. To watch his unfiltered, uncensored videos is $4.50 a month and he always rates and raves about how many he has a month he's at like 18,000. That's a lot of money 18. You know how much money that is a month, somewhere around 80,000.
Speaker 1$4. $4. And he's raising the price $4.50. 18,000. $4., $4. And he's raising the price $4.50. $18,000. $7.84. $81,000 a month. And that's not being paid from YouTube reviews, and so you don't think that they set these up ever. You think?
Speaker 3they're always finding predators.
Speaker 2They're always catching them in the act and they're always there to record it, it's production quality recordings for their.
Speaker 1YouTube channels Just wait, just wait, unless they get like cops that look fucking legit, real, real, that's not impossible if you kid me.
Speaker 2Okay, yeah, I agree with that Dude. I got an old Halloween costume. Aside from the shorts being really short and the shirt being a half shirt, it looks dead on.
Speaker 1When you see the people's faces that he interviews or catches them, it's just like you can tell.
Speaker 2No one can act that good.
Speaker 1No one can act that good, and if he has this many people acting, there's got to be one that's fucked up, one that might not. All of them look just like a ghost. They turn from a normal person to a pale ghost and they just freak out.
Speaker 3It's pretty fucked up that there's that many people that are like that out there.
Speaker 1There is too many, and there's another one, and they're all on the platform that your daughter spends the majority of her time.
Speaker 3Have you seen the one? They're all on there, according to Chris Hansen, have you?
Speaker 1seen the predator catchers that slap dudes in the face and punch them? Yeah, there. Have you seen the predator catchers that slap dudes in the face and punch them? Yeah, I've seen that. Have you seen that guy? I forgot his name, but when he meets up with them he'll go. They'll go into, like again. He's always a walmart and they're like, if the guy doesn't want to talk to him, he'll start screaming. This guy came here to meet a 13 year old girl, whatever it is to get everyone's attention, and he starts slapping the shit out of the dude, knocking him down, kicking him when he's on the ground, if I knew how to fight.
