We all ask the questions: "Are my kids doing enough? Am I doing enough?"
If your children have opportunities throughout the day to learn, then they will learn. When homeschooling, students complete formal lessons in a shorter amount of time than students in traditional school. With so much extra time on their hands, moms begin to self-doubt, and kids begin to complain, "I'm bored." Embrace the extra free time with open arms. Boredom is one of the many gifts of homeschooling. In this week's episode, Carrie shares the benefits of allowing your children to be "bored," offers practical tips on how to use boredom as a way to breed creativity, and reassures moms that their children are doing enough (even in their boredom)!
