In this week's podcast, Carrie shares how to apply the Sabbath Principle to your yearly homeschool calendar. In Carrie's new book, Just Breathe (& Take a Sip of Coffee): Homeschool in Step with God, Carrie explains in Chapter 3 the importance of not only taking a Sabbath hour each day to recoup and reset and to take a Sabbath day each week to worship and to rest but to also schedule a Sabbath Week into your homeschool schedule. In this episode, practical advice and biblical principles are given to help you truly rest in the Lord and to simplify your homeschooling. Listen up this week because Carrie will hit the pause button next week. Since it is her family's Sabbath Week & Break, no podcast will be uploaded next week.
