Hey y'all. Welcome back to the Find Your Edge podcast. I am grateful you are here, and happy Thanksgiving. Today's episode is short but powerful. Thanksgiving can easily become about food, the schedule, the travel, the chaos, the noise. But at its core, this holiday is about gratitude, being present with what we have, who we have, who we are, and where we are in this moment. We often don't slow down enough to notice the good that is already here. So today, I want to invite you to take a breath and simply be. Instead of rushing, instead of monitoring your food, instead of thinking of what you should or shouldn't eat, try shifting or reframing your focus to who you're with, what feels joyful, what you're grateful for, and what today truly means to you. So I encourage you to, if you're in a position where you can close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out. And let's do that again because I can probably guarantee you that you probably haven't done this today. So just take a deep breath in and a nice long breath out. Now ask yourself: who are you grateful for today? Maybe it's you. Maybe it's some loved ones. Maybe it's some friends. Maybe it's a pet. What small joy is present here that you might otherwise overlook? And it doesn't matter how small or big or poignant or not, it might be that your joy is in the mashed potatoes that are on the table. And don't overlook that, right? Another one to ask yourself is how can I honor my body? And how can I honor this moment? So I know a lot of you folks are often coming to us because you want to push your body to do something different or beyond what you may think it's capable of, or that you want to change your body in some way. And I encourage you to honor your body today, at whatever shape, size, ability, express that gratitude. Food is just one part of the day, and don't let it overshadow the meaning of the entire day for your body, for your loved ones, for any of that. So whether you're celebrating big today or keeping it quiet or navigating something complex, I'm grateful for you, for your effort, for your growth, and for your heart in this journey. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. I hope today feels full in ways that matter most to you. Thanks for listening and have a wonderful holiday.
