What you have just read is the tip of the iceberg; there is so much more captured in the shows already posted and those yet to come. Each show is roughly a 15-minute investment in your future and that of your family. Start now to gain the knowledge that will serve you and your family, just as you served your country. Veterans Corner Radio
Did you know that many veterans have over $100,000 available to make their home accessible and adaptive to their needs. Listen in to hear if you qualify.
Jason Latona, Chief for Specially Adapted Housing at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington DC. discusses the Adaptive Housing program. Chief Latona and his staff work to assist eligible Veterans and Servicemembers to access the housing adaptation grants that Veterans have earned to live more safely and independently. Eligibility could mean up to $100,100 in accessibility improvements to a veteran’s residence. In this broadcast, you’ll hear about the levels of eligibility and how to file for assistance. Ensuring that eligible veterans have the freedom and safety to come and go from their house is a minimum requirement for job completion, but there is so much more.
