Veterans Corner Radio focuses on what those who have served in the military, and their families need to know to maximize the services and benefits due to them. No matter if you are currently serving or got out 50 years ago, this program will give you answers to questions you didn’t even know you should be asking. The VA is adding Vet Centers all over the country. Will Flores, a retired US Coast Guard Senior Chief Petty Officer talks with Joe about the Tampa Center and how they offer confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Their services include counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).
