Veterans Corner Radio focuses on what those who have served in the military, and their families need to know to maximize the services and benefits due to them. World War II Veteran, Retired US Army Corporal, Harry Demenza
Corporal Demenza grew up in Tampa, Florida. He enlisted in the US Army and went through training to be in the Infantry. A unique pre-service course on drafting however, changed how he would serve. As a result, he found himself in Japan as the war came to a close and became part of the effort to redistribute assets deployed on behalf of the US military to Japan. Offered the opportunity to obtain a commission and turn in his Corporal stripes to become an officer, Harry chose a path he long desired from his days growing up.
