SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 191: The two cookie limit: Examining our beliefs
We all know that what we believe impacts the way we think and behave. But what happens when those beliefs are less conscious or when we don't want to believe them anymore?
That's the topic of today's episode of SelfKind with me, Erica Webb.
Growing up, I had a two-cookie rule imposed on me. How does this impact my behaviour now? Tune in to find out!
Of course, I'm drawing parallels here around our movement and self-care practices because, chances are, there are beliefs that are getting in the way of you caring for yourself in the ways you really want to.
In this episode you will hear:
- The impact of subconscious beliefs and rules
- How we can go about becoming aware of and questioning those beliefs
- The role of action in changing our beliefs
- And more.
