SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 197: The #1 mindset shift you need to finally find time for self-care
Lots of buzzwords in the title this week, but stick with me, 'cause this shift in thinking can absolutely change your relationship with yourself and with self-care.
Here’s the thing: so many of the ways we attempt to motivate ourselves into action (or rest) come from a place of either:
Trying to be ‘better’
Trying to get it ‘right’
Trying to avoid pain
Trying to ‘keep up’
But how much of what we do comes from a desire to be our own best friend? How much of what we do comes from a desire to have a kind and loving relationship with yourself?
What if we started there?
That's what we're diving into today and I have four helpful tips to get you started.
