Ep 201: Three myths of self-love

Erica Episode 201

Self-love: does it feel familiar or foreign?

Honestly, it felt like a complete and utter myth to me for the longest time. I would hear the words and think ‘yeah, yeah, that sounds nice, but also: impossible.’ Now? I realise that the myths are the mistaken ideas we hold about what self-love really is, not self-love itself.

So, in this episode, I’m talking about three myths that might be getting in the way of having a loving relationship with yourself.

In this episode you’ll hear:

  • Why loving feelings are not a prerequisite for self-love
  • Why self-love can be the best foundation for challenging yourself
  • Why trying to earn your own love is backwards.
