SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 240: Tuesday Tidbit: Is always and never thinking getting in your way?
In this Tuesday Tidbit episode of SelfKind with Erica Webb (that's me!) I'm sharing why always and never thinking could be getting in the way of a kind, compassionate relationship with yourself and with self-care.
This certainly isn't the first time we've talked about all or nothing thinking here on the Podcast, but I think this particular way of framing the idea is helpful - because it relates to the words we use when we talk about what we do.
In this episode you will hear:
- Why your choice of language can impact how you feel and your relationship with self-care
- The helpful advice I was given recently that helped me see this in a new way
- Why the goal of considering always and never thinking isn't to find the 'right' way to talk to or motivate yourself, but rather to limit the impact that your imperfect action has on your self-talk and relationship
- Language that might be more supportive than always and never.
