SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 99: Allowing, Cancer Thriving and Self-Truth with Rochelle Trudo
In today's episode I have the absolute joy and pleasure of chatting with Rochelle Trudo - a licensed professional massage therapist who has been working with humans and their bodies for 21 years. Over the years, Rochelle developed a desire to understand the deeper meanings behind the pain and illness of not only herself, but also wanting to teach her clients how to do that as well.
After completing cancer treatment and claiming a thriver status, she knew there was a new chapter to her journey as a bodyworker. This led her to seek more education and expand her scope of practice as a yoga teacher and mind body therapy practitioner.
Today, Rochelle is going with the flow and working with clients who are navigating big life changes such as cancer. She creates her nature filled life with her four children and her creative wife.
“These are things I know to be true for me… Follow my heart, embrace change and share my light.” Rochelle Trudo
In our chat, Rochelle and I talk about:
> using sensation as a way of sorting through our thoughts
> strengthening the muscle of 'allowing' and learning how to be
> how cancer offered Rochelle an opportunity to move into more of who she is
> the importance of staying true to oneself
> and so much more.
Tune in for the full conversation.
