SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 123: Who can fix you?
Who can fix you? Are you really broken?
I'm posing these questions today as part of our Low Back Love series where we're talking about the missing pieces of the puzzle standing between your current pain/discomfort/tension/frustration and experiencing more ease.
It's not uncommon to end up feeling like the ONLY way we can feel semi-ok in our body is to be fixed by someone else. And, while I want to make it abundantly clear that this is NOT about leaving your hands-on therapist in the dust, a complete reliance on that model may point to an underlying belief that the only way for you to feel ok is if someone else fixes you.
But what if you're not actually broken? And what if you have far more capacity to change the way you feel than you think?
That's what we're talking about today, so tune in to find out more!
