SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people

Ep 127: Three ways of looking at the ‘mindful’ in mindful movement

Episode 127

The 'mindful' in mindful movement ... what does it actually mean?
That's exactly what we're exploring today in this episode of The Movement and Mindfulness Podcast.

Mindfulness comes with it a high-level definition of presence and awareness of the present moment. We're going to talk about that from three different perspectives to really dive into where mindful practice can take us.

In this episode I talk about mindfulness in relation to:
> our presence with how we feel
> our intention and motivation
> the bigger context of our lives and culture.

I think mindfulness gives us the opportunity to decide HOW we attend to the present moment. There are layers and perspectives, and we get to choose.
