SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 247: Moving towards what you want
Welcome to this episode of SelfKind with Erica Webb (that's me!).
In this episode I'm talking about the power of moving towards what you want rather than always moving away from what you don't want.
You'll hear:
- how your habits and goals can be supported by an acknowlegment of how you want to feel.
- why guilt is a poor motivator.
- why alleviating guilt by finally doing that thing you said you'd do is so different to moving towards something that actually makes you feel good.
- why shoulds are a poor reason to do something (and what is better).
