SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 265: When your body and mind are at a stand-off
Body and mind not seeing eye to eye? It can be tricky to navigate that scenario, but it for sure isn’t uncommon. In this episode of SelfKind with Erica Webb (that’s me!) I’m exploring what to do when your mind and body are not on the same page.
Picture this: your mind is reminding you of all the things you have to do, NOW. It’s pressing you to get them done because that is the only thing that will alleviate the overwhelm that is taking over. Meanwhile, your body is screaming at you to STOP. Which do you listen to and how the heck do you act as the mediator here?
Hear why the antidote might well be taking a walk that you don’t think you have time for.
Tune in for the full episode!
