SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people

Ep 273: I was fixed and then I wasn’t?

Erica Episode 273

Are you familiar with the feeling of coming so far, only to land (usually metaphorically on your butt) back where you felt you started? It can leave you feeling like all the progress you made around managing anxiety, overwhelm, anger or whatever other emotion, were for naught.

But … what if that’s part of the human experience and you’re not failing?

What if, viewed from another angle, that apparent set back is actually growth?

The truth is that growth is not linear.

Join me, Erica Webb (registered counsellor, somatic exercise coach and highly sensitive person) for this episode as I talk about what this can look like for my fellow highly sensitive people (HSPs) and why these experiences ask for our self-compassion and curiosity rather than our judgment and criticism.
