SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 92: Shoulders Tense? Three simple tips.
Oh the weight of the world can feel like it's resting on our shoulders, hey? Shoulder tension is something I think we can all understand and relate to. Whether you find yourself persistently tense or experience it from time to time, it can be a right ol' pain to manage.
Today on The Movement and Mindfulness Podcast, I'm sharing some of the reasons why tension might be there in the first place and how we can see that tension is often our body working FOR us rather than against us. I also share 3 simple movement practices you can do simply and easily to start shifting tension.
Remember, if you want to join me for our free 7 Day Shoulder Reset starting on March 27th 2021, just head here to sign up. Seven days, 7 movements, 7 minutes (or less). Join me!
