 Police investigations are complicated things. Lots of information from a variety of sources - human, intercept, surveillance, etc. - needs to be collected, processed, verified, and used to eventually lay charges (if feasible). During this process it may be necessary to hold on to some information so as not to jeopardise a court case. But if someone is arrested and accused of support for a terrorist group does naming that group compromise legal action?
