When moving to Buzzsprout from another hosting platform,
redirecting your old RSS feed will help bring your listings and subscribers with you. However, there is one more step to take to ensure that your Spotify listing redirects seamlessly to your Buzzsprout feed.
Updating Your RSS Feed in Spotify
You will need to manually update the hosting provider and RSS Feed in your Spotify for Podcasters account. The process is very simple, and we will walk through it here:
- Log into your Spotify for Podcasters account.
- Select your podcast.
- Click Details. You should see your old hosting platform and RSS feed URL.
- Click Update.
- Update the information with your new Buzzsprout RSS feed URL. This can be found in your Buzzsprout account by going to Directories > RSS Feed.
- Confirm that your hosting platform shows Buzzsprout and select Submit.
Then you should be all set! Now you should see all the changes made in your Buzzsprout account reflect in your Spotify listing automatically within a couple of hours!
