0:00:00 - (Dr. James Bugg): It was more than just for pain. And you know, it turns out the nervous system is the master system. And chiropractors are really. We're nerve experts, not bone experts like you'd think.

0:00:21 - (Josh Bellieu): Hello, everyone. Welcome to Ultra Life today. You know, there's times where you see God weave such a unique tapestry with relationships and people, and today is one of those very events. Today, Adam and I have the privilege of hanging out with someone named Dr. James Bug. Now, in my opinion, there's doctors of chiropractic and I love chiropractors and I've been to some of the best of the best. I've never ever been to a chiropractor. I kind of look at, @ Dr. Bug.

0:00:53 - (Josh Bellieu): Adam's kind of a renaissance guy. I admire that in people. Dr. Bug, in the chiropractic world, I'm.

0:00:59 - (Adam Payne): Not sure I understand what that means, Josh.

0:01:01 - (Josh Bellieu): What I mean is you have a unique affinity for art and for music and for creativity and for learning things. And you're inquisitive and you always want to keep learning just all kinds of stuff that'that make sense.

0:01:12 - (Adam Payne): That's fair.

0:01:13 - (Josh Bellieu): Okay, very good. And just by the way, formally I'm Josh Bel.

0:01:17 - (Adam Payne): You, I'm Adam Payne. This is Ultral Life today.

0:01:19 - (Josh Bellieu): It is indeed. Hey, listen, do you like what we're doing here? It's really easy to just type in Ultral Life one word. And then today, wherever you love your podcast, if you love what we're doing, share it, give us a high rating so that we can beat the big tech algorithm and like us and share us and fasten your seat belt. So I'm going to do a little setup for our guest before I formally introduce him.

0:01:43 - (Josh Bellieu): If you'followed our broadcasts or our podcasts, and we now are in the 80s of those, we got some fantastic ones out there with key opinion leaders, integrative and functional medical practitioners, compounding pharmacist, clinical nutritionists. We did our number two, Adam, number three and number four broadcast with someone called Kenzie Taylor.

0:02:05 - (Adam Payne): Yep.

0:02:06 - (Josh Bellieu): And Kenzie is a naturopathic doctor here in Oklahoma City. Taylor's Herbs.

0:02:11 - (Adam Payne): It's an amazing story. I mean, if, if, if, if our listeners, if you guys haven't.

0:02:17 - (Josh Bellieu): That's what I'm saying, they got to go back number, got to go back number three and number four. In fact, I would recommend the beginning.

0:02:22 - (Adam Payne): Go to the beginning before listening.

0:02:23 - (Josh Bellieu): Exactly. Yeah. So we'll tie in some really interesting things with this man next to us. But hey, Dr. Bug, thank you for coming and hanging out with Us today.

0:02:31 - (Dr. James Bugg): Thank you so much for inviting me forward.

0:02:35 - (Josh Bellieu): So. So, Adam and I love to hear how God leads someone into their journey of what they've done and how they end up helping people. So give us some snapshots about your life and what got you interested in what you're doing now. And I know you just. You're, again, one of those renaissance guys. You keep learning, you keep adopting new techniques and new modalities and stuff. I mean, I'll just say right now to kind of set the tone for this.

0:03:01 - (Josh Bellieu): Adam knows this. I was suffering with headaches for almost a year. I'd never had headaches before in my life. I go in to see this guy, and he uses a technique to strip away scar tissue all around the back of my neck. And had one session. No more headaches. Wow. Really?

0:03:17 - (Adam Payne): So this is recent.

0:03:18 - (Josh Bellieu): This was about. It was about a year ago when I first. I remember.

0:03:22 - (Adam Payne): You were like. Were like.

0:03:23 - (Josh Bellieu): It was brutal. I was literally having to sleep when I got home from work. Had to sleep kind of partially up. The headache was Constant. It was 24 7. Nothing would relieve it. So this guy uses some unique modalities, but he also has some unique presence of the Lord to do some things that he does when you're under his care. It's pretty cool.

0:03:42 - (Adam Payne): So what did you do to our dear friend Josh? What happened? Do you remember that visit?

0:03:46 - (Dr. James Bugg): Well, I put a hurt on him.

0:03:48 - (Josh Bellieu): You did? I will say this. He has hurt me more than any other chiropractor, but he literally apologizes before he does it. He's like, I love you, brother. This is going to hurt. I'm sorry. Raise your hand if you just can't take anymore. But, you know, 90 seconds later, he was done.

0:04:05 - (Adam Payne): Was it like a. Did you, like, remove the fascia attachment?

0:04:09 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes, it did. Some mild fascial technique, some trigger points, and actually learned from a karate teacher. Oh, my gosh. 40 years ago when I was in the military. And he taught us how to get rid of a headache. I had one, and he did it to me. And I go, I want to learn this.

0:04:25 - (Adam Payne): Wow.

0:04:26 - (Dr. James Bugg): Any family member?

0:04:27 - (Josh Bellieu): Okay. So I veered us off into a rabbit trail. Tell us about your life. Tell us about how you're doing what you're doing still today.

0:04:36 - (Adam Payne): Yeah. Did you grow up wanting to go into wellness, Doc, or what? What? Tell us the origin story of Dr. Bug.

0:04:44 - (Dr. James Bugg): I'd been around chirop practic all my life, and. And it fixed a cousin of mine. She was basically sent home to die as Kinsey Wasow. And Chiropractor fixed her and helped her and so that started a long journey and I remember my father was a policeman in Spencer, Oklahoma and he couldn't turn the key on his car to start the car the patrol car and he went to a chiropractor and I don't even remember his name he was in the coma Park Oklahoma one treatment and he was able to turn the key and that is several problems and so it was around osteopaths a lot and that was mainly our primary care doctor that we always used we had one guy she was in Spencer don t remember his s name but we grew up going to an osteopath and he would do manipulation. Right.

0:05:34 - (Dr. James Bugg): And then long story short I got my start in natural medicine by I had these chronic horrible sinus infections like clockwork each month and I'd have to get what's called a Billin shot it's a really thick painful antibiotic that the inject to your rear and it was just awful and but it wasn't taking.

0:06:02 - (Adam Payne): Care of the problem.

0:06:03 - (Dr. James Bugg): No it would just kind of fix the infection and then the next month same thing Well a friend of mine, he gave me a book that same KAR instructor gave me a book and it was called the Healing benefits of Acupressure by a chiropractor named F.M. houston and I remember I was due to go get another shot I was really really sick and I said well I'm gonna start looking into this book and I tried it it was really really simplistic way it's laid out it would show you it show there was different pages that would show you where you can find a pressure point which turned out to be acupuncture points for certain things and could look you could look in the index and turn to that page and so anyhow long story short I was helped self help by doing those pressure points on myself and I amazing never had to get another shot for that AM so hold on.

0:07:05 - (Adam Payne): So you're an infection in your chronic infection by ac acupuncture Acupressure was resolved?

0:07:14 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes sir. It is amazing and that's what really started me on this thing.

0:07:19 - (Adam Payne): So how long did it take for it to resolve originally was it must.

0:07:23 - (Dr. James Bugg): It wasn't immediate there was some immediacy as far as I started some drainage which was bad that's cool but it took me about four days and u. You know and. And then I would stretch it out well I'll wait another week to go to the doctor and get my biceylin Shot waybe I can make it two weeks and maybe a month and then pretty soon that was it.

0:07:47 - (Adam Payne): That was it.

0:07:48 - (Josh Bellieu): So yeah, this whole idea of energy meridians in the body and harmonizing those. You know, we have a dear friend, Dr. Brian Frank, who's he's a world class, you know, both the American version of acupuncture and then also the traditional Chinese. And he tells some of the most crazy stories of resolving people in one visit of something that's been plaguing them. Well for decades.

0:08:14 - (Adam Payne): Yeah, I don't know if you know this Dr. Bug. He. Dr. Frank wrote kind of the treatise on auricular acupuncture.

0:08:21 - (Josh Bellieu): Yes, we were actually talking about that. You were one of your old, old classes. You went to. Where was it in the world you went to some other state far away?

0:08:31 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yeah, my wife and I went to Seattle, Washington state. Seattle. And I was to learn using different auricular parts in the ear. That's acupuncture in the ear. Using an electric inst. That would both find it. Find the place. In fact, how acupuncture really was brought over by Nixon was they proved acupuncture by each spot would have a reduced or electrical signal or more electrical signal. Interesting. An area of release resistance.

0:09:07 - (Dr. James Bugg): W. So we would find the spots, treat it whether it's positive or negative and whatever. And each part of the ear is a different hurts. Different. Different.

0:09:18 - (Josh Bellieu): Right, right.

0:09:18 - (Adam Payne): Fre frequency.

0:09:19 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yeah. And then you gave. You would give the pace. This is for addiction and addictionology. And he was a medical doctor and a chiropractor, both. It's really interesting. And he would give you these amino acids. And as I was sitting out at your desk today in the break room.

0:09:35 - (Josh Bellieu): And I already, you know, I already had a Dr. Gantt story together. But it was't Dr. G. It was.

0:09:41 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes, it was Dr. Gant. I did the book a long time ago, but I look down and there's in your formula there's the same exact amino acids that this doctor would have us give the patient along with theuricular therapy.

0:09:56 - (Josh Bellieu): And do you actually think that was Dr. Charles Gant that you saw when we were talking? Weren'you weren't sure, but I know you'd read the book and I led you down.

0:10:04 - (Dr. James Bugg): I didn't see him. I just read the book.

0:10:06 - (Josh Bellieu): Okay.

0:10:07 - (Dr. James Bugg): It was kind of briefly. I remember it wasn't a very thick book, but I just spillbound.

0:10:12 - (Josh Bellieu): Okay so. So once again these fun side trails we go down. So you were interested. You grew up around osteopath. That Was your. Your doctor, you saw relatives utilizing chiropractic and having amazing results there, didn't you? Also like as you're growing up, did you go right into school? Did you go into the military? How did all that.

0:10:33 - (Dr. James Bugg): How did all that went into the military? The last part of the Vietnam War. In fact, I got hurt training to go to Vietnam, not uncommon. But I went on ahead and stayed in. I ended up in Germany and. And when I got out, I had a lot of knee and back problems. In fact, they call me a disabled veteran. I don't like the word disabled. God healss all, but anyhow, that's the name given. And this VA has been really, really good. They even hire chiropractors and osteopaths.

0:11:06 - (Josh Bellieu): Nice.

0:11:06 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yeah, it's amazing. Oklahoma City VA and so I had really bad back problems and neck problems from the military. And we were out in Albuquerque of that same green Beret friend of mine that taught the self defense. And we stopped in a chiropractor, a friend of his named Burl Tatum. And he'retired Albuquerque police sergeant whose son taught at Palmer, the main chiropractic school in the United States. In the world actually.

0:11:39 - (Dr. James Bugg): It's the original one from DD Palmer. And so anyhow, he was worked on my neck and he was filling of my. And he had already helped me and he was feelling up my spine down on my low back. And I thought he was kidding with me. We all kind of had this little slapstick brotherhood too going on. You know how it is. Exick soldiers.

0:12:01 - (Josh Bellieu): Yeah.

0:12:02 - (Dr. James Bugg): And he said, well Jim, have you been constipated? And I go Burl, come on now I'm really. I'm hurting. No, he said when your spine gets locked up down here, it can cause your bowels to not work because the nerves gets pinched.

0:12:18 - (Adam Payne): Right.

0:12:19 - (Dr. James Bugg): And he fixed it and he adjust me and I never had another problem actually. So.

0:12:24 - (Adam Payne): Wow.

0:12:25 - (Dr. James Bugg): And that was my.

0:12:26 - (Adam Payne): So you were constipated?

0:12:28 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes, bad. And you know, I'm sorry to talk about it.

0:12:32 - (Josh Bellieu): Well, no, it's fastic work. It's such a huge problem for people.

0:12:36 - (Dr. James Bugg): The Lord led me down to this path by him showing me that it was more than just for pain. And you know, it turns out the nervous system is the master system. And chiropractors are really. We're nerve experts, not bung experts like you'd think pop in the back and.

0:12:52 - (Josh Bellieu): Yep.

0:12:53 - (Dr. James Bugg): Know I've had like kenie miracles coming in and fix the nerves and stuff. And you're talking about maybe some different things. I Do. And I've been really blessed by the Holy Spirit and wonderful wife too. She's an attorney here in Oklahoma City. And shout out to her, Deborah, I've studied how people, what they do at work. If I didn't do it myself, which I worked so many different jobs. Never knew I was goingna be a physician of any kind.

0:13:26 - (Dr. James Bugg): Never thought about it. Never thought anything about the medical field. In fact, I'd studied massage by this green beret that he was helping all these soldiers come back from BO and everything. Learning massage and touching and working on people and getting touched by us. Learning massage and treatments and acupressure points. It helped us to heal.

0:13:50 - (Josh Bellieu): Yeah.

0:13:51 - (Dr. James Bugg): And so. So anyhow, that, that's how, that's how I got started. And then.

0:13:56 - (Adam Payne): So how old were you at this point, doc?

0:13:59 - (Dr. James Bugg): Oh, gosh, 23, 24. Getting help.

0:14:04 - (Adam Payne): So you were in the military?

0:14:06 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes, and in the army and then later on was in the Air Force Reserves.

0:14:10 - (Adam Payne): Okay, what was there. Were you overseas at this time or.

0:14:16 - (Dr. James Bugg): No, I was back. Back home.

0:14:17 - (Adam Payne): You're back home out of the military. Right.

0:14:20 - (Dr. James Bugg): And a black gentleman who's was the school superintendent down in Wayne, Oklahoma. Wayne Payne, Pa. Down by Winnywood and Pauls Valley. Yeah, I was working on him because I was taught.

0:14:36 - (Josh Bellieu): So you're not even a chiropractor at this point, You've just learned these unique.

0:14:40 - (Dr. James Bugg): Things from this greenret body in the army. I said, hey, you know me, let me work on you, let me give you some relief. And goes. He goes, jim, he said, you should be a chiropractor. You should go to chiropractor. Chiropractic school. I checked into it. Little did I know that it's a full doctorate physician and we have to go get our undergraduate. And it was really hard. And in any doctoral program, my wife's law program is a J.D. juri doctorate. Yeah, Any kind of a doctor program is really, really tough. And this was very, very tough to get through. I went to Parker down in Dallas and the reason I wanted Parker, it just made sense that he taught business too.

0:15:25 - (Dr. James Bugg): Because you can't keep a business open unless you know how to do the accounting. Yeah. And a demographic study of the area to see what kind of patients you need. Even signage, location, location, all of that parking. Yeah. And make sure there's no LANSNs on any equipment and so on and so forth. So went down there and I studied every. Anything we could learn on the side, I would study.

0:15:54 - (Josh Bellieu): So you were signing up for all the courses and picking everybody's brain.

0:15:57 - (Dr. James Bugg): Oh my gosh. All over town. You know, Dallas is a big Fort Worth, it's a big chiropractic area and there's two chiropractic colleges in.

0:16:06 - (Adam Payne): Guys, we're going to have to go to a quick break.

0:16:08 - (Josh Bellieu): Yes, we are. It's perfect because this is the appropriate time.

0:16:11 - (Adam Payne): Is the appropriate time.

0:16:12 - (Josh Bellieu): Yeah. So thank you for that segue. We're going to be right back with Dr. James Bug. This is Ultra Life Today. I'm Josh Bell.

0:16:19 - (Adam Payne): You, I'm Adam Payne and we have Dr. Bug here.

0:16:22 - (Dr. James Bugg): Stay tuned.

0:16:22 - (Adam Payne): We'll be right back. Our mission is to take nature's most beloved botanicals and enhance them with our liquid protein scaffold technology. This helps it reach your cells faster and better with exponentially enhanced bioavailability. You'll feel better every day. Ultra Boanica, the feel good curcumin.

0:16:56 - (Josh Bellieu): Hey, welcome back to Ultralife today for a fascinating life journey for that first segment and on into this second segment with Dr. James Bug, a chiropractor, but as I said in the first segment, a Renaissance guy that is still, you know, as we would probably qualify ourself as above 60. Doc, we'll just call it that. Still loves to learn. Still learning things all the time. Has a quest and a thirst for knowledge.

0:17:22 - (Josh Bellieu): And we, we were, oh, and I have to say, you want to reach Dr. Bug, you can contact him. It's so easy to do. He's right here local to Oklahoma City. He sees people from all over the metro. People come in from further away than that because this guy does things I've never seen any chiropractor do during the time that he's actually particularly manipulating or doing adjustments. So the way you can get ah, hold of Dr. James Bug is area code 405-770-34322.

0:17:50 - (Josh Bellieu): That's 405-703-4322. You absolutely will not regret this. I walk out of there walking about three feet off the ground when I go see this guy when I leave. So anyway, you had taken us up through your and I have to mention, you know, it was pretty cool. I think you were able to take advantage of the GI Bill, right, to help you with your school. Yeah. And that's really cool because, you know, a lot of people like you and others, if that hadn't been available, we may not have seen you in this profession, you know, because life was hard and money is hard to come by. So thank you United States for at least doing that for our, for our veterans. So anyway, you're through. You're through. Chiropractic school. You're in Dallas area. You're signing up for courses and learning from all these people there.

0:18:37 - (Josh Bellieu): How did you end up migrating back here to Oklahoma or where did you go next?

0:18:42 - (Dr. James Bugg): Well, I what's really nice Oklahoma Board of Chpractic Examiners let you. We run in trimesters in chiropractic college down and diet in Dallas. They let me. They would let the try seventh, seventh trimester out of nine take Oklahoma boards. And I passed them.

0:19:04 - (Josh Bellieu): Crushed it. All right.

0:19:05 - (Dr. James Bugg): I said the letter came in the mail and it sat on a coffee table for three or four days. I just couldn't bring myself to because it was such a hard test. I thought for sure I'FLUNKED it O. And I at and. And I made really good grades on it.

0:19:19 - (Josh Bellieu): So I That's be.

0:19:20 - (Dr. James Bugg): So I thought, well, I'm meant to come back to Oklahoma, it looks like.

0:19:24 - (Adam Payne): And that's awesome. What. What year was that, Doc?

0:19:27 - (Dr. James Bugg): See, that was a 1989.

0:19:30 - (Adam Payne): All right. So did you, um, just strike out on your own when you got here or did you end up with somebody else?

0:19:36 - (Dr. James Bugg): I ended up with somebody almost. That's. It's really tough for chiropractors with all the prejudice from the ama, so on and so forth.

0:19:44 - (Josh Bellieu): And that was one of the eras where you were just beginning to be recognized in your profession. A lot of stink went on and Senate in Congress to get that through. Right?

0:19:53 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yeah. And the big lawsuits and everything. And so I moved to Oklahoma City to work underneath another chiropractor and it really didn't work out. It turned out he was just kind of really. I'll just be honest with just using me. And so I moved to Chandler, Oklahoma and chiropractor helped me set up there and I worked there for two or three years and I just wanted to move back to Oklahoma City. I was raised.

0:20:23 - (Dr. James Bugg): I went to high school in Edmond. Raised in Choctaw, Okoma Park.

0:20:29 - (Josh Bellieu): Born in Shawnee Spencer, where they used to ride horses to school. You mentioned Spencer with your dad and a policeman out there?

0:20:36 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yep. Yep, they did.

0:20:38 - (Josh Bellieu): It's funny.

0:20:38 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yeah. When I first met my first saw my wife, I was. This is long before I met her. She was riding a horse and her and her girlfriend parked at Sonic on Northwood Expressway.

0:20:52 - (Josh Bellieu): This is fantastic. I love these kinds stor. That's so cool.

0:20:56 - (Dr. James Bugg): So anyhow, I moved back to Oklahoma City and our board has. You take stuff every year. Of course we have to do realizing seminar and they're Very strict on what it can be and they've had some good things. I'm really proud of the board are there's two major groups, the Unified Chirop Pract association and then. And then the other one. Anyhow you take classes and so they've had good stuff. And so I would take those eight hour courses and then follow up with really, really to. You can't learn so much in eight hours.

0:21:34 - (Adam Payne): Right.

0:21:35 - (Dr. James Bugg): Or 16.

0:21:36 - (Adam Payne): So this is like continuing medicale.

0:21:38 - (Dr. James Bugg): Continuing education. So I would go ahead and pursue each thing that we learned and learn it more. And then I went to acupuncture school and it was that the men that Chinese men that run the. He ran the stroke area of the University of Wichita Medical School.

0:21:57 - (Josh Bellieu): See, that is so cool. When you hear about a conventional medical doctor like that, that may even be like sitting at the top of their game in a particular unit, like a cardiac unit. And then you find out maybe they came from Asia and all of a sudden they totally believe in that because that's just standard medicine in their countries. Right?

0:22:15 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yeah. We had MDs do and chiropractors in the class with us.

0:22:21 - (Josh Bellieu): Nice doctor.

0:22:22 - (Dr. James Bugg): He's a gal. He's amazing. From Evergreen. Evergreen was the name of his place. I think they're closed now. But I learned Chinese herbs and they're a lot different than American herbs.

0:22:33 - (Adam Payne): So under like traditional Chinese medicine or Y.

0:22:37 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes.

0:22:38 - (Adam Payne): So Doc, you've taken on your own flavor in terms of how you practice medicine with your patients is have you broadened your scope beyond chiropracty or. I know there's something unusual that you do that I think is. It really resonated in my heart which is in fact when we were talking about coming in and doing the interview, you said look Adam, I just seek whatever wisdom and inspiration I can get from the Holy Spirit. Y With every patient in every visit.

0:23:14 - (Adam Payne): Was that always the case or was this something that've. You've essentially grown into over time?

0:23:21 - (Dr. James Bugg): I've grown into the Holy Spirit part of it. I One of the instructors down in Dallas, Dr. Brown, he was a medical doctor and taught. Taught a lot of our. His chair for the basic sciences. He said. He said Jim, you know, you. You're a Christian and don't know it. So I guess I. You. Aw, that was awful nice.

0:23:43 - (Josh Bellieu): Yeah. I know a guy, I know a guy that says whenever I meet people I just have. I just have one thing to say to them and said if you say you're not a Christian, you're about to be.

0:23:55 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes.

0:23:56 - (Josh Bellieu): Know.

0:23:57 - (Dr. James Bugg): Okay, I Can blame my wife for she and I waited till she wasn't a patient of mine for about a year to be keeping in keeping it straight.

0:24:11 - (Adam Payne): So you waited a year before you dated your wife.

0:24:13 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes, but she invited me to church two years earlier and that stuck in my head.

0:24:18 - (Adam Payne): Wow.

0:24:18 - (Dr. James Bugg): So I have hear to thank for it.

0:24:21 - (Adam Payne): But so this relying on Holy Spirit wisdom or inspiration something that it's changed in your life. This is something different new. But there has to be some stories here.

0:24:34 - (Dr. James Bugg): I'been I've had 10 major surgeries. I've been hurt.

0:24:37 - (Adam Payne): You yourself. Wow.

0:24:38 - (Dr. James Bugg): But I think God has. Has used all of that. I tell you what I do, I do what helps me on each patient.

0:24:49 - (Adam Payne): Okay.

0:24:49 - (Dr. James Bugg): And I start with Mary's not able to work right now. My secretary had a heart attack. But. Oh, she can come back. But. But anybody would call in for a visit. I would. She would hand me the phone, I'd ask her to. Unless I just wasn't there. And I would set up the appointment. The diagnosis and everything started the minute that I heard their voice.

0:25:11 - (Adam Payne): Oh interesting.

0:25:12 - (Dr. James Bugg): It beautiful whether they're Hispanic.

0:25:14 - (Adam Payne): So the Lord would actually give you something the moment you could hear their voice.

0:25:17 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes. And you might call it a shotgun approach which I don't just if they come in for low back pain, I'm darn sure gonna check everything on them.

0:25:29 - (Adam Payne): Yeah.

0:25:30 - (Dr. James Bugg): Cause it's already the little toe could be it and mentally and spiritually figure out, you know and I'll invite if there spousees in there, either man or woman. I invite them to come in with them so they can see I can show them the leg link descriptities all the different diagnoss that I do. And it reaffirms that hey, this person's really needing help. And it brings the whole family and the kids to.

0:25:55 - (Josh Bellieu): Yeah. I was in your aero room waiting the other day hearing you interact with this lovely friend of the lady you were working on. And you were interacting with the little daughter too. And I was just like this is phenomenal. Just what's taking place in this next room as you're bringing healing to these people. Because you were bringing healing and encouragement to everybody that was there. It was really cool.

0:26:20 - (Dr. James Bugg): The healing starts at home.

0:26:22 - (Adam Payne): So what. What how do you feel like the. What do you feel like what's happening in your inner man, in your spirit? Is it like an encyclopedia opens up in your heart? Do you get an impression, a direction? What do you feel? I mean I'm asking for some things that you might not be able to that you might not have tangibly thought about, but what does the Lord show you? What does it feel like to you?

0:26:48 - (Dr. James Bugg): Well, the Holy Spirit, I call it the universal mind.

0:26:52 - (Adam Payne): Sure.

0:26:52 - (Dr. James Bugg): You tap into that universal mind and just answers will be there. And if they're not there, I pray a quick silent prayer and of course pray with the patients. I've only had one patient that.

0:27:06 - (Adam Payne): What did want to pray with you, huh?

0:27:08 - (Dr. James Bugg): Yes. But I said, well, do you mind if I pray? And he says, go ahead. A year later, he comes to me and asks for prayer, so.

0:27:17 - (Josh Bellieu): So I have to share a quick one. To set us up before we move into our next segment. We've got about three and a half minutes left. So I was in Dr. Bugs office the other day and Adam, this is to your point. Okay.

0:27:27 - (Adam Payne): Yeah.

0:27:27 - (Josh Bellieu): I'm in Dr. Bug's office the other day and he's doing things on my body that he's never done before. And I started to tell him about something that had really been troubling me since January. You know what that is, Adam? And we've gone back and forth and talked about it and I've tried different things and taken lots of supplements. And just as I was about to open my mouth and really kind of get into my story, I was going to give him a little brief health history of me since j January.

0:27:56 - (Josh Bellieu): I'm looking up at him because I'm on my back on the table and I literally see his eyes change. It's just like coo like that, you know, it's like you see in a science fiction movie or something. It's like his eyes changed. It's almost like they got more colorful than they were. And I saw this expression and he goes, oh, wait a minute, wait a min. And he started going down this road and he go, were you agriculture? Were you part of. And I started setting. He said, you've been exposed to moles.

0:28:21 - (Josh Bellieu): Then he reaches around andhes. And then he reaches around and touches my left lung, which I have had for those issues thatble with. And so I got, I got much more, much more than the shot because while he was working on me then he beautifully had opportunity. This wasn't some formal thing. This was this guy palling around with Holy Spirit and just, you know, just being in the of things in the mix.

0:28:50 - (Adam Payne): Josh, what our people, what our friends here need to know is that Josh has been living in a house that has had a huge mold problem over the last year, last couple of years.

0:28:59 - (Josh Bellieu): Two years.

0:29:00 - (Adam Payne): Yeah, years. And so when you, when you came to me and said, you know, suspecting that something else might have been going on, you know, I've been telling him that you need to take this is probably a mold issue. And lo and behold, that's, that's beautiful.

0:29:13 - (Josh Bellieu): Yeah, but the beautiful part was, is then he just very lovingly, in about a 22nd thing, said a prayer, placed his hand on me, kind of went like that, like, go away. And I kid you not, I walked out of there feeling better than I have. And I have actually felt better every day in the lung, Doc. And so the thing that I say about going to see this guy, it's not just his incredible bagage tricks that he has because of the continuing education, you know, we come from that era, we can joke with each other.

0:29:46 - (Josh Bellieu): So anyway. But yeah, he's just got all these tools, he's got all these modalities, he's got all this knowledge. But the thing that is so cool is God is the one that weaves the story and the tapestry and he's the one that gives the insight and the download into James to be able to cooperate with what the Lord wants to do to bring healing. So to me, it's like you get so much more than you bargain for when you go see this guy.

0:30:10 - (Adam Payne): I see the same thing. I think what you're seeing was the Holy Spirit connecting with Doc, with James right at that moment.

0:30:16 - (Josh Bellieu): And it was just this beautiful interruption. It so cool.

0:30:20 - (Adam Payne): So I hang around Israel Hannah, who's an evangelist all the time. And I, and I can, I can I see when the Holy Spirit hits him?

0:30:26 - (Josh Bellieu): Oh yeah.

0:30:26 - (Adam Payne): And it's like. And I know. And he gets a download from, from the Lord and I know he's like. And he's on a mission because he's going toa be, you know, praying with somebody or going after somebody. It's a beautiful thing.

0:30:37 - (Josh Bellieu): So we're going to move into another segment here in a minute. You're listening to Ultraife today. Do you want to contact Dr. James Bug? I think you probably do.
