A fitness plateau refers to a period during a fitness journey when an individual experiences a lack of progress or improvement in their strength, endurance, or overall fitness levels.
It's a point where the body adapts to the current level of exercise and fails to make further advancements despite consistent effort.
Fitness plateaus can be frustrating and demotivating, as individuals may feel like they are not making progress. But there are not only ways to overcome plateaus in your training, but also avoid getting them - and knowing if you really are plateauing.
