The Neonatal Survival Project, jointly funded by QMS, AHDB and HCC, set out to build a structured plan to improve survival rates across the industry. There is strong research to understand the biology of survival but how do we put this into practice? Dr Alex Corbishley, a farm animal vet, currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Farm Animal Practice at the University of Edinburgh, joins the podcast to discuss the findings of this project and steps the industry can take to move forward.
