EP109: Is Macro Tracking Right For You?
In this episode I discuss the benefits and challenges of macro tracking. For years, I avoided learning how to track macros because I was intimidated by the numbers. I figured I could just "eat healthy" and get the results I wanted. When I hit a plateau, I realized I needed to get out of my comfort zone and learn more.
When you understand macro tracking, you can take your fitness goals to another level. Protein, carbs and fat play important roles in our health, and dialing in the correct ratios can expedite results and improve physical performance. I prefer macro tracking (and flexible dieting) to other nutrition methods because it's more realistic and sustainable in the long run. It also removes a lot of guilt and shame around food.
