Your goals help guide the program you'll need to follow to reach your health and fitness goals. Don't contact a personal trainer until you have clearly defined fitness goals you're excited about. A trainer can help clarify a few things for you, but they can't tell you what you should be excited about. That's on you. 

A good coach will be honest about what they can realistically do for you, and then it's your job to show up, and do the work. A lot of people will just hit Google and contact a personal trainer in their area, or online, and think it's a magic wand for results. This simply isn't true. Before hiring a personal trainer/fitness coach, listen to this episode.
