Upon taking up a new hobby and learning a new skillset, it's important to have specific standards of operating. For example, I establish clear standards for my clients around proper technique in the gym and all that is entailed to get results in a timely manner. I help them understand exercise order, sets, reps, rest periods, lifting tempo, and how to control the intensity of their workouts.
I give them feedback on technique in person and for exercise videos they send me. We don't cut corners around here. The pursuit of improvement starts by making an effort to do it right, every time. Thanks for listening!
