I'm super thrilled to share with you a recent conversation I had with my friend Kathy Jenling Yen on how easy (and important) it is to do something good for the environment. The best part about it? It doesn't take a lot to make an impact. All you have to do is start.
Kathy Jenling Yen, is the co-owner of Oliver Flynn, a store that offers zero waste, plastic-free and sustainable products. She’s on a mission to bring awareness of the environmental challenges we are facing today, and trying to do her part in making Mother Earth healthier for our kids and the future generation. In her spare time she loves to immerse herself in a variety of interests whether it's playing the piano or training for a marathon.
What I love most about Kathy is her quiet strength. She proves to me that you don't have to be the loudest person in the group to make a difference. Making an eco friendly difference can be as easy as carrying a reusable bag in your purse or keeping a reusable cup in your car.
