Is cooking a source of stress or delight for you? Does the idea of cooking give you the freak out?
Whatever your source of kitchen anxiety is, in today’s episode I’m going to give you some food for thought as well as fun and practical ways to overcome your kitchen anxiety- all to help you to become more kitchen confident.
Do you get stressed out because you can't cook without a recipe? Do you despise cooking when it feels like a duty? Are you uninspired due to dietary restrictions that that the happy out of the meal?
I find that a lot of the stress that we feel with cooking and kitchen anxiety is due to this idea that you’re somehow less than because you don’t know how to cook.
Here’s the truth. Cooking is a skill, not a talent. That means you can learn it. Don’t let a hangup of not knowing something stop you from feeling worthy or less than.
You’re not less of a person because you don’t prepare home cooked meals every night. Or because you burn your pancakes, leave the veggies to roast too long in the oven or forget to season your dinner and it tastes flavorless. #guilty
