About Derek:
With clinical expertise in treatment  of substance and behavioural addictions, as well as mental health concerns, Derek invites his clients to take part in a collaborative and non-judgmental approach to addressing their personal treatment goals. He draws on principles of psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, harm reduction, emotion focussed therapy, and somatic therapies when working with clients. Derek is well-trained in group, individual, couples, and family therapy. 

Derek also works as an experienced integration therapist. His work in this domain is geared towards individuals who are interested in, or who have had experience with non-ordinary states of consciousness.
