Rob Harley is a principal lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science at The University of Brighton.
In 2012 he won the Beachy Head Marathon, an off road race over the South Downs - which starts and finishes in Eastbourne - the last stretch running over the exacting Seven Sisters.
He talks about his loss of running through a hip replacement and how cycling has become his passion.
Rob took part in L'Etape in 2013 - an event which sees thousands of cyclists complete one of the sections of the tour de France.
