Bodhisattva Conversations.
Bodhisattva Conversations is an exploration of the practise of being. How we live, relate, and move through life with greater presence, awareness, and freedom.
Through reflection, Julia Chi explores what it means to create a deeper connection with ourselves and with everyday experience, revealing how inner clarity and presence lead to greater ease, joy, and aliveness.
This podcast is about experiencing who we truly are, moment by moment, and discovering how life unfolds more freely when we live from awareness rather than habit.

Stillness Is Freedom: Calming the Restless Mind
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Most of our suffering is not caused by life itself, but by the restless mind reacting to life.
In this episode, I explore what it truly means to still the mind not by suppressing it, but by gently training it so that we are the master of our mind!
There is a saying that it makes a wonderful servant and a terrible master!
We look at:
- Why the mind becomes addictive, doubtful, critical or negative
- The subtle ways we seek relief from discomfort
- How inner restlessness fuels reactivity
- The difference between forcing silence and allowing stillness
- And why freedom is not found in perfection, but in non-entanglement
Drawing on contemplative wisdom and lived experience, this episode reminds us to 'press pause', and to discover the clarity that emerges when the mind no longer needs to escape.
Stillness is not emptiness.
It is fullness.
