It is a big shift for me kind of scared, kind of nervous, very, very excited. It's been something I've been thinking about leaning into for a while and I, a week ago, was like we need to do this. And so here we are, leaning hard into the pivot and really just feeling out and exploring my love of summits Really just feeling out and exploring my love of summits.

Speaker 1:

A bit of background if you're new here. My name is Jenzea. I am a teacher business owner. I've been running Facebook ads for other teacher business owners since 2020 and absolutely love doing that. Many of my clients have been running summits. I'm just wrapping up one. It's our fourth summit. I have another one wrapping up in like a week, which will be our third summit together, and I just absolutely love them, and so I've really been thinking about how they are a unique beast to tackle when it comes to marketing, and they are different from other launch mechanisms. They're different from other list building mechanisms, they're different from other sales tactics tactics is the wrong word, but sales techniques and I just feel like there's so much in this world of summits that I want to keep exploring and keep doing for my clients, and I have tons of knowledge that I just want to share, and so that is a big reason for this pivot. I am going to leave all of the market scale grow episodes up and available, and so if you want to go back and binge any of them, if you need Facebook ad support and you're looking for like list building techniques and tips and strategies and nurture content tips and strategies, then definitely check out Market Scale Grow. So those episodes will all still be here and then going forward, they will be before your summit, which we will have three pillars.

Speaker 1:

So the first one is summit marketing strategies. I do want to be very clear about that. This is all about marketing your summit. I don't have a ton of experience helping to set up and create the actual summit itself. All of my expertise, all of my experience, is in marketing the strategy. So we're going to be talking about marketing strategies for summits. I'm going to be providing bigger picture thinking behind the successful marketing plan that's required for a summit, from timelines to budgets to speaker engagements, some tools and conversion boosting ideas. I've had tons of experience supporting my clients and participating in summits. Not only have I been the marketing support behind summits, I've also presented at many summits, and so I feel like I have kind of this front end, back end perception of an understanding of how a summit runs. I'm also going to be continuing to give tons of ad tips, tricks, strategies.

Speaker 1:

I am a Facebook ad strategist. That's not going anywhere. I am still providing Facebook ad support for list building and launches and those types of campaigns as well. So I just I want to lean into the strategy behind hosting a summit so you, as the host, can constantly run facebook ads and make sure that they're attracting the right people to your summit. We don't want to be wasting money on ads. We don't want to be relying completely on affiliate marketing either, so most of my content is probably going to still lead into this paid ad strategy.

Speaker 1:

And then, finally, case studies. As I said, I'm currently in the midst of two separate summits and throughout the year, like last, in the last year, I've probably helped out on like this would be summit number five and six, and so basically every two months we're pushing out a summit because I just love them so much. So I have tons of experience. I want to give you those real life examples and applications of summits and how you can incorporate more marketing and more strategic marketing into your summits based on those real life experiences that I've had. This show is for you if you have already hosted a summit and you want to make your next one bigger. It's also for you if you've never hosted a summit before and you're looking to run your first one. Whether you are an educator or a digital creator or a coach, summits can be really great for basically anyone who has a digital business, and so I think that there's tons of value that could come from hosting your own summit and also the marketing tips and strategies that I'm going to be providing for digital business owners.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to be continuing with my Saturday strategy sessions. I started these when I started. Market Scale Grow back in either 2022, I want to say like April 2022 or April 2023. I started Saturday strategy sessions because, on Saturdays, I was always looking for something to listen to. There are so many podcast episodes that come out on Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There's a few that come out on Thursdays and Fridays, but there is nothing that comes out on Saturdays, and so by the time the weekend would roll around, I might have one or two other episodes to catch up on, and then I was like I got nothing, and so, while I don't plan on these being really long episodes, I do love the idea that there is something that comes out on Saturdays for you weekend listeners, and then for those of you who put your podcast away for the weekend and you enjoy other things, obviously the episodes will be here on Mondays too. So Saturday strategy sessions. And then I also have an exciting mini series that I'm planning. It's going to be a five podcast episodes, like five days in a row, happening in September. So stay tuned for that, uh, and I just want to like I I remind you that of this, like it's a Benjamin Franklin quote.

Speaker 1:

I'm pretty sure If you fail to plan, then you're planning to fail, and I think with something like a summit, that rings very, very true. There's so many moving parts to hosting a summit that creating and having a plan is essential to your success, and so these events can change the trajectory of a business tenfold, and I have personally witnessed people's businesses just exploding after they've hosted a successful summit. But typically that success does not just happen. It requires time and energy, planning and preparing, and so I really want to help you with that. The next seven episodes three more are going to be coming out today, so you can just binge, and then four more are going to be coming out the next Saturday. My goal was to get these out on Saturday. I don't think that's going to happen, um, but that's okay because there'll be four episodes for you to binge now and then going forward. The episodes will be coming out on Saturdays. So, yeah, let it play into the next episode and, uh, we're going to be talking about.

Speaker 1:

Okay, here's a rundown of the seven next episodes. The first one is free or paid. What type of summit should you run? I think that this is a really important question and I'm going to be talking about the pros and cons of each and where all access passes or VIP passes play in to the summit. Episode number three of these eight launch, eight episode launch series is a summit marketing timeline. So, week by week, we're going to be breaking down my eight week balanced summit marketing timeline. Uh, that one comes with a free download, so keep your eyes peeled for that episode. Number four there's three ad strategies to grow your summit. So we're going to be leaning in to my ad strategist and I'm going to talk about my three favorite types of ads for growing your summit without wasting money. Number five we're going to keep on talking about money and we're going to talk about ads, budget and what you should be spending where, when, what types of ads to run.

Speaker 1:

I think that episode four and five really go well together. Episode number six is, oh a good one Getting speakers to actually promote without bribing them or burning out. As a speaker, this can be challenging. Having been a speaker at other people's events, this can be really challenging because, oh, just for so many reasons I'm not going to get into it. But episode number six of these eight episode launch series is, yeah, talking about speakers and getting them to launch. Episode number seven is behind the scenes Some of the most important things that I've learned from supporting successful and struggling summits. And then the last one is five Facebook ad metrics that summit hosts must be tracking. So thank you so much for listening and I will see you in the next one.
