Welcome to Unarmor Talk, where we remove armor, have real conversations, and strengthen how you think and respond to life. Today's pro tip when you have multiple job offers, here's what not to do. Number one, don't ghost the employers. If you're declining a job offer, still respond, be professional, but you want to protect your reputation and your personal brand. Number two, don't brag or flex your other offers in front of other employers. Instead of saying, hey, can you beat this offer? Don't say that. You can say, I received multiple or another competitive offer. Um, is there any flexibility in negotiating uh the salary benefits for both? Number three, don't accept an offer just to hold it as leverage against another employer. Only accept when you are ready. Yeah, you don't want to burn bridges because it can hurt your future and also degrade your personal brand in industry, whatever industry you are working in. Number four, don't rush because someone pressures you. Now, this is your timeline, your career. Once you get the offer, you know, the ball is in your court metaphorically. So don't rush. Now, if they start pressuring you to make a decision, that could be a red flag, which leads me into number five tip. Don't ignore red flags. I mean, company that's desperate to get you, they're pressuring you. And let's just say they give you this huge salary. That doesn't mean it's going to fix toxic leadership, poor training. Maybe there's no promotion opportunities, and maybe they're under a loss. Who knows what's going on in that company? But that's where you can do informational interviews and gain some insights, but definitely don't ignore the red flag. So I want to thank the request that came in to do this quick pro tip. I hope this helps anyone that's transitioning out of the military or anyone in any industry that's subscribed to Unarmored Talk Podcast. I believe if you avoid these mistakes, you'll make stronger and more confident decisions in your professional journey. So that is it for this evening, everyone. I want you guys to remember stay unarmored, stay authentic, stay mentally fit. And as always, I am praying for you all. God bless you. Until next time.
