Before the week starts pulling at you, let's pause for a moment. I'm gonna give you guys three pro tips to help you mentally prepare for the week ahead. And this is what I use. And so here we go before we get there. Welcome to the Unarmored Talk Podcast. I'm your host, Mario P. Fields, where we remove the armor, have real conversations, and strengthen how we think and respond to life. Pro tip number one: hydrate before you think. As soon as you wake up, before you check your phone, your schedule, drink a full glass of water. A lot of folks don't know this, but dehydration will increase stress, uh stress signals, and hydration helps regulate your nervous system. And this is not about trends. This is this is about giving your brain what it needs before all those demands start to hit it. Number two, control your breathing before you schedule. Your breath is the fastest way to regulate your nervous system. I like to look at it like this you don't need motivation, you need regulation. So one tip is you could uh it inhale through your nose for about four seconds, hold it, and then exhale slowly for about six seconds, repeat this a few times before you start to get into the demands of your week. And then pro tip number three choose one non-negotiable for yourself for the week. You don't need a perfect week, um, you need one clearing priority, one habit, one action, or one important conversation. One anchor reduces mental overload. And just remember, this is for me, not remember, but for me, clarity, peace, chaos. My life was not always like that. So you guys know the deal. You do not need a perfect week. Don't try to get a perfect week. You need a calm start, clear priorities, man, and regulate that central nervous system.
