Growing up in a Genocide with Sara Musleh
My guest today is Sara Musleh, a young woman in Gaza, whose life was turned upside down from the morning in October 2023 when she lay down for a nap and awoke to the sound of bombing and the beginning of a nightmare.
Finishing your final year of school exams can be stressful at the best of times. Sara has done it while under attack, fearing for her life, being displaced numerous times, lacking food and electricity.
Sara generously shares her experience of living in a genocide, what keeps her going, what the so-called ceasefire means on the ground, and what those of us who care can do to stand with the people of Gaza.
