If you've ever felt like you've tried everything, the supplements, the protocols, the energetic healing sessions, and still feel stuck with your chronic symptoms, this episode is going to land deeply. Today on The Rebellious Healer, I'm talking with Jordan, a recent graduate of the MBR program. She came in with a laundry list of symptoms, nausea, fatigue, insomnia, mood swings, allergies, digestive issues, and more. And like so many others, she was in survival mode, trying to hold it all together for her family while silently falling apart inside. What you're going to hear is the story of what actually created change, not just in her health, but in her entire life. We'll talk about the shift from fear to trust, the deep subconscious work that helped her finally break free, and how healing doesn't stop at the physical. It ripples through your identity, your relationships, your family, and even your career. Let's get into it. So today I am here talking with Jordan, a recent graduate of MBR, discussing what her life and symptoms were like before the MBR program, and now after completing it. Welcome, Jordan. Hi, Jenny. I'm excited to be here. So let's start off by talking about what symptoms you came into the program with. Now these are the symptoms that when you first originally start, you give us a list: nausea, headaches, fatigue, insomnia, exhaustion, PMS, mood swings, allergies, occasionally being allergic to your short-haired black cat, frequent itchy eyes before you went to bed, upset stomach, gas, racing heart, weight gain, congestion, and sore throat. And you also had depressive thoughts and days where you would just feel low. So you started with a nice list there. Yeah. A lot of things going on. And you know what? When we're feeling that way, we're also we're just so aware of just even the small little things like there's this and there's that. And then when you get well, you're like, I think I have maybe one thing going on. It really shifts because you're so obsessed in the beginning of every little thing that's happening that you pick up on all this little stuff. So the list is always long for every single student that starts in the beginning. So paint us a picture for what your life was like before you joined the program with these symptoms.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so life before I started a program was it honestly felt like it was being like ripped away from me. It didn't feel like I was really living much of a life. I felt like I was in survival mode more than actually living. I was having headaches and nausea almost daily, and I had really bad fatigue. I didn't have the energy to keep up with my kids. I homeschool and it was all I could do to get through dinner. And most days I was actually in bed not long after we ate. My husband was taking on a lot of the responsibilities. I wasn't really spending time with my family the way I wanted to. So from the outside, it probably looked like I had it all together, but inside it was just I was going through the motions and just trying to survive another day. I later found out also after starting the program that I had a very serious caffeine addiction to the point where it was like part of my identity. I had to have it in the morning. And then if I was going to town, I would have to take some form of caffeine with me. And so I was having it in the afternoon and I could not go through a day without the caffeine. And then the day before I signed up for the program, I actually had to cancel plans with my family. I had paid for tickets to a show and I walked out on a lot of money because I didn't feel good. So that's when I knew that I couldn't do it anymore and I had to take action.
SPEAKER_00Yep. There's always a point in this journey where we go, enough is enough. Something needs to change. What kind of treatments did you try before joining the MBR program?
SPEAKER_01I didn't spend a lot of time at the regular doctor's office because I went there a couple of times and I knew that they had no idea what was going on, and it just frustrated me. So I then went to a holistic nurse practitioner. And because it felt more natural to me, it felt like maybe she would know a little more. And she had prescribed me some progesterone and it actually made me feel way worse. I was taking a bunch of supplements and they weren't really improving how I felt. So I just felt like I could spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month on these supplements. So I moved away from that and I went to resonance repatterning and Akashic Records because I felt like maybe if I could shift the energy around what was happening, but I realized that when I would do these sessions, the energy would shift, but it wouldn't stay that way. It would just go back. Every time I started to feel better, it would just I would feel bad a couple weeks later. And so I thought that I could maybe fix myself. And I found out that I really couldn't. I knew that I was on the right path.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Yeah. You went through a typical journey like a lot of us do. You're willing to try anything whenever you're just seeking to get some type of solution and working on ourselves, we can do that to a certain extent. But as you've learned, it's so much more than what you can consciously see on your own.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right. So when you were able to see the subconscious patterns, like your thoughts, those core beliefs that we had make a note of every time you're doing your work. What's the core belief underneath that? Did it seem to for you all come together? How did it help you see that this was, these were the patterns that were driving everything in your life and your health? How did that all come together for you?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was a complete game changer. I always knew that there were things under the surface that were affecting my health, but I didn't have a sustainable way to access it and move through it. So I, like I think a lot of other people, think that these big trauma events are what are healing our subconscious and negatively impacting us. But I found out throughout through the program that it's the little things that are just as important. One of my most impactful sessions in the program was around me not knowing a letter in kindergarten. And as an adult, I saw it wasn't a big deal at all. I remember writing it down and I was like, this is so silly that I'm and we were working on it in a session, and I was like, this isn't that big of a deal. And it was actually one of my biggest sessions that I had. I tried more in that session than I did in any other. So just that realization of all the things that are underlying. And the worksheets really helped me point in pointing out the patterns that I had. Like an example, I knew that I had a tendency tendency to be negative, but I didn't realize the depth of it or how frequently or how much I did it until I was working through this and looking at how I react to things.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Yeah. This the whole point of the worksheets and the work is to take it to a deeper level. A lot of people can see their own poo. We can see it, but we have to take it a little bit deeper because what we think is the poo isn't often the poo. It's much deeper than that. What we think is the problem isn't really the problem. What's driving us to behave this way? The behavior is just a symptom, the thoughts are just a symptom. What's driving both of these? And that's going to be the underlying core patterns, your core beliefs, these events that happened that shaped you into who you are today and your survival patterns as a child. So that's the root stuff that creates the big change. And if you don't have someone guiding you, right?
SPEAKER_01How would I ever know that not knowing a letter in kindergarten was affecting me and making me act in certain ways? I would have never had an idea. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And again, you would look at that consciously and say, not a big deal. I'm over it. I'm an adult. Why in the heck that would that bother? We look at that and go, that's a big deal. That's a big deal in the essence of how it shaped you and what you believed about yourself, the beliefs that you ultimately left that experience with have shaped you into who you are and now how you're responding to life currently. But of course, it's all changed because you're no longer using and functioning from those patterns.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right. So you've been in the program now for eight months. You've graduated, you've done the deep work, you've worked on all your old subconscious patterns. How have your symptoms shifted?
SPEAKER_01It's actually really funny because when I sat down to prep for this, um, I was just thinking about all the positive ways my life has changed. And then after sitting there for a while, like like going through everything, all the amazing changes, I was like, oh yeah. When I went into the program, I actually did have a ton of symptoms that I no longer have. But I wasn't focusing on those anymore. And I realized that the sooner you can shift your mind off of the symptoms, the sooner you start to feel better. And my new favorite saying is you can't catch a healing phase. Like I say it all the time. Someone like warns us that they've been coughing. And I'm like, that's okay. You can't catch a healing phase. Yeah. But in regards to my symptoms, the nausea, headache, fatigue, the allergies, and lack of motivation, my sore throat that I had almost all the time, and no longer being set off when I'm feeling overwhelmed. They've all gone away.
SPEAKER_00Awesome. Such a shift in what you said, your focus. You sat down to answer this question. And rather than focusing on symptoms, you went into how you think differently. And as a mom, how what such a huge impact to your kids? Even that simple phrase of you can't catch a healing phase. It's it's so impactful to your kids just to hear mom saying that, because the rest of the world is gonna say, that virus, you're gonna get it because I'm sick and now you're gonna be sick. And your kids are gonna be, yo, you can't catch a healing face. And how much that shifts in their mind to be looking at what illness is. So when moms do this program, the whole family changes. And those little seeds that you plant with your kids, you don't have to sit down and do an eight-month program with your kids to have them think differently about their bodies. They watch you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I wish that every mom could do this program, honestly, because it's just shifted so much within our family. You that it's just you doing the program and it's it's not like it's affected everything. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Families change when just one person in the program does it. All right. So, what have you liked best about working with your coach in the program? In the MBR program, the eight-month program, you are matched with the coach for the entire eight months. If people aren't aware of that, I just want to explain that a little bit. You have a coach side by side with you from the day you start to the day you end. So talk to me about what you liked best about that.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so my coach was Michelle, and she was honestly amazing. Her personality, just so positive and upbeat. And I just loved working with her. But she didn't just the thing that I liked the most about Michelle was that she didn't just help me work through my symptoms. She was there to help guide me through some really tough situations that I was going through during the program that I wasn't really sure how to handle. So in the beginning, it was okay, I'm going through this situation, I'm gonna react. And then I'm gonna message Michelle and see what I do. And as the program went on, it was like, okay, I'm going through this situation. I'm just gonna sit on this.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm going to message Michelle. She's gonna get back to me within 24 hours. I can actually wait. I don't have to react. I can wait um for her response. So that was nice. But I would say that the worst part about the program is that you take Michelle away at the end. I was so sad, but I will say, on the other hand, I don't know if I will actually ever get Michelle's voice out of my head. Yes. I hear Michelle, which is a really a great thing. Right, right. Almost every day reminding me of these little things that she had all the time. Yeah. I actually appreciate that. So when the program ended, I actually got a little worried about how I was gonna handle the situations without having her there to consult with me. And when I get confronted with an issue or whatever. And I realized that I actually I had exactly what I need within me. Katie helped me. This program helped me to have everything within myself because she did such a good job of giving me these tools to handle it all on my own. So that that was a really nice realization that I can do this.
SPEAKER_00And that's our gift to you as well as a student, from us as coaches to students, is that we give you the tools and the guidance to equip you to adapt to life in a better way. In the beginning, that might be we have to help you out a little bit more. But in the big picture, if we were the only ones that you always ran to or came to us for these things, that's that codependency that isn't helpful. And that often happens in like a therapy type of setting, right? Someone's running always to this person to ask a question and get answers. Now, in the beginning, when you have those old patterns and you don't know what to do, absolutely. But when you have these tools and you are fully equipped with them, we want you to do that because we know at some point you have to leave the nest. It's no different than our kids, right? If we don't teach them the things they need to know to leave, we're never gonna have them leave the nest either. So we want to draw the line of that codependency and bring in the guidance and put that power back into you within those eight months. And you've done an amazing job with that. All right. So what do you think? And I know that you have maybe you have taken other programs, but what do you think sets MBR apart from the other things that you've tried?
SPEAKER_01So I would say, like in the other programs, they'll work with you, but they just work with you and send you on your way. And in MBR, it's a top priority to make sure, like we just said, but it's a top priority to make sure that you're learning everything you need to know to handle the ups and downs of life on your own. I realized you can't set healthy boundaries and have healthy relationships if it's never been modeled to you. During this program, that was an essential part of my success was having those things modeled because I I've never seen it before to that extent. So I think to have a successful program, you really need the daily work, the subconscious sessions, and the ability to access a coach like MBR has that has all of that. And I think every single one of those things is essential to be successful.
SPEAKER_00Thank you for that. And I agree, them are the three pieces. We can't take one of them away and say we're gonna get success with our clients. They are essential. You have to have that one-on-one work, the coach to help see the poo and also guide what to do with that poo. And then there's the one-on-one work that doing that on your own is not gonna be the easiest and shouldn't be done on your own. And that day-to-day work, we've been wiring ourselves for 30, 40, 50, 60, depending on how old you are, that many years every single day unconsciously. So if we don't have a plan every day to work a little bit on chiseling in the new ways of thinking, those new patterns, and on wiring the old, we're not gonna have any progress. So each and every one of those pieces is super important. All right. So, how do you see what you've learned through the MBR program affecting your future? How you are gonna be adapting to situations, responding to life, thinking, acting, all of that. How do you see this all affecting your future?
SPEAKER_01This might have been my hardest question to think of because it was so hard to pinpoint just specific things because I've had so much growth. My whole entire life has changed, right? I feel like now I'm so confident in myself and where I'm going in life, even if I have no idea what that is. I feel safe just being me and moving through life. And because I know that I create my own safety and I choose my happiness. Um, I'm a completely different wife and mom, 100%. I'm able to finally show up as the person I've always wanted. All of my relationships, I was thinking about this, and I'm all of my close family relationships have all shifted for the positive. I've made positive strides with everyone in my family. My, like we talked about earlier, my kids and husband have actually changed tremendously. I know that's not about me, but it is life at home, used to be like really chaotic because I have four small kids and homeschooling and running a business, and now it all feels like it just flows and downs, but the downs don't feel like I'm spiraling out of control. We just flow through it. I know that if something isn't working, that now like I have the ability to change it, not in fear that it's gonna be like this forever. And one really big thing is that I'm actually helping with our business now, which is really huge because I've learned that I'm capable of whatever I set my mind to. One big thing that Michelle actually helped me work through is I avoided the finances because my husband has always just been in charge of them. And but by avoiding them, I realized that I actually was like scared of them. I just shouldn't want any part of it. And now I'm actually in charge of the finances. Oh, and I'm working on getting us credit lines and loans, and I've stepped into a huge role. And I it just it's amazing.
SPEAKER_00Look at the ripple effect. You signed up to have your symptoms go away, and now you're the financial manager of your husband's company.
SPEAKER_01It's truly, it really is the changes that I've had are like truly amazing. There's nothing I never would have expected when I signed up for this program. I just wanted the symptoms to go away. I just went, I didn't care about anything else, and I just never would have expected what occurred.
SPEAKER_00Oh, so amazing, Jordan. And what you're modeling for your kids. What I love most about this whole thing, this was for myself. I know it's for all the other coaches, is our kids saw us when we were at our worst. And then they see this rock star mom like blossom. She just blossoms and goes, Where is the old mom? And she steps into her power and everybody changes. And you are modeling that you can create your life, you can create your health, and you're in charge of that. What more do we want to pass on to our kids? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I mean, people talk about generational wealth. Yes, that's the true generational wealth.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Yeah. Oh, I got doubts. So amazing, Jordan. All right. So you've pretty much told everybody this kind of already, but let's just tell it to them straight. If someone was sitting in front of you, they have chronic symptoms and is listening to this, not knowing if they should take the MBR program. What would you say to them?
SPEAKER_01I would say absolutely do not wait any longer. I think I waited maybe two weeks in between talking to you and signing up. And I honestly wish I wouldn't have waited any longer. The changes that occur in your life are why would you want to why? Oh, I love that.
SPEAKER_00But what you said is start it now. Don't let that old brain that has kept you stuck, because it has kept you stuck this many years, brought you to this place, continue to have control. Jump on it, even with through that discomfort. You're not going to regret it. Thank you so much, Jordan, again, for sharing your healing success with me. Those that are listening, you're truly an inspiration to others that they can heal and get their life and health back. Congratulations. Thank you so much. I'm so thankful that for the program that you've created. Thank you. I'm honored to have helped you on that journey. If Jordan's story lit up something in you, if you're feeling the nudge that it's your time to stop chasing your symptoms and finally step into real healing, Evolve is the space for you. It's our eight-month high-touch experience where you walk side by side with a coach who's walked this path themselves using our MBR framework to create full-body, full life transformation. You can find the link to apply to the Evolve program in the show notes. No more waiting, no more tiptoeing. This is your moment to become the healer you've been looking for.
