🚨 What Happens When the Atlas Is Misaligned?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
When the Atlas shifts—even slightly—it can irritate the brainstem and create what we call neurological facilitation.
In simple terms:
➡️ The nervous system stays stuck in a high-distress signal.
This can lead to:
- Lowered pain tolerance
- Widespread muscle and tissue pain (fibromyalgia)
- Increased stress sensitivity
- Headaches
- Sleep problems
- Digestive issues
Why digestion?
Because cranial nerve #10—the vagus nerve—comes directly off the brainstem, and it innervates the entire gastrointestinal tract.
This is why Atlas issues are often connected to:
- IBS
- Crohn’s disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Colic and constipation in babies Atlas
