Hello Habit Mechanics. It's Dr John Finn here. I hope you're well. Exciting news we have just released our AI era leadership accelerator. This is going to be a huge part of what we do. Moving forwards.
Speaker 1:The AI revolution presents great opportunities for people to accelerate their careers, to do the thing they actually or set up the business they actually wanted to set up, get their next pair eyes, get their next promotion, and in order to do that, you need to start developing yourself as an AI era leader or coach, and that's what we've set up the AI era accelerator to do. Speaker 1:And the first principles of high performing teams is brains, because brains are driving everything and brains have a distinct set of operating rules that are often completely ignored. And, again, why we often see failure in leadership development, team development, failing cultures, failing change programs. Brains have this distinct set of first principle operating rules. Here are some at a high level.
Speaker 1:They are designed, or they have evolved, to prioritize this thing inside your head. It's designed and evolved to prioritize saving energy. That's its number one operating rule. At every turn it looks to save energy. That's why we procrastinate, for example, because we procrastinate on things that don't give us instant rewards and that take up a lot of cognitive energy.
Speaker 1:Our brain is also a predictive machine. So, coupled with um, its desire to save energy it predicts, it projects itself onto the world around us Because that's easier from an energy perspective. So this is sort of why habits are so dominant. So brains are run by habits. It's a survival machine. Another priority is to survive and that's why many people are finding AI so threatening and they're not even prepared to properly look at it and what it can do, because there's such a strong threat response that the PFC is just basically wiped out.
Speaker 1:So brains run teams, they run cultures, and as leaders, what we need to do, first of all, is understand how our brain works and then understand how we can start creating cultures and teams that promote, first and foremost, high performing brain function. And, of course, this is where the brain states model comes in. So just having a working, science-based but practical model that everybody can understand, brain state intelligence, and we're heading towards brain state intelligent cultures. That's what leaders can accelerate. But, you know, scale this from just themselves into the culture and in the final chapter of train your brain for the eye revolution, I start to talk about this how brain state intelligent cultures and high performing human ai teams will become like the sigma six of the manufacturing era or complex manufacturing era, and those who understood lean sigma six were the most highly in demand experts around. So we can do the same, we can become the same in the ai era, and that's what the leadership accelerator allows you to do.
