We fixate on what’s not right because our brains love to fix problems. 


It can also be a trauma response. 


In this episode I chat through why you fixate on problems and what I used to do. 


Here are some things you can do to ensure you don’t spiral… 

  1. Focus on what’s in your control. As I said. You might write a list of what you’re going to do. Have a plan - and if it’s anything outside of that, do your darndest to let it go 
  2. Focus on what is good. What is working in your life? What are the positives? What brings you joy? The simple things - and do more of that. 
  3. Spend time getting out of your head. Journal or speak it out loud. This is one of the most beneficial things you can do…
