Steve was homeless for many years, from 1996 until Gary Stockton of Phoenix Heroes
helped him to go into rehab and start a new life.
For 18 months Steve lived without drugs, but life became too difficult and for awhile he relapsed, but it was Gary who encouraged him to start a new life.

and on March 19th 2021 he set off for Wigan where Steve has been living without drugs and doing a lot of fishing...
